Great Product
I bought this product for my boyfriend as he is always in the garage working on his cars after work, with poor outside light in the winter and the bonnet blocking the light above him this is a great product that he can get a natural light from. He's already used the light several times and he's really surprised with how good the battery life is. This has made his life a lot easier not having to work in a shadow of the bonnet all the time. We haven't used the magnetic part yet although the cushioned sides stretch perfectly over his Audi A3 bonnet and could easier stretch to a vehicle with a much wider bonnet. I would highly recommend this product and would definitely purchase again if needed!

Poor battery life
Does not last very long even on lower power setting, cheap plastic feel to the light. Bonnet extenders and springs etc all work great. Light swivels which is nice. Strong magnets

Great, battery life not great
This is an extremely useful gadget and the only problem i can see is that the battery life is not good enough, as it can only stay on for a couple of hours. This would not be such a problem if it was possible to use it while plugged in, but you cant

Such good quality
I bought this as a gift for my partner. He loves it. He describes it as a 'good piece of kit' and he smiles every time he uses it. It was worth the price just to get a smile out of him! Have to say though it is very good quality and it's not just mechanics it's useful for. We used it whilst doing some wiring. Great product and quick delivery.

Quality issues
I like the concept but the quality is poor. I can't decide if this is second hand (being sold as new in the advert) or just badly treated during assembly. There are scratches and marks all over. A couple of places have, what can only be described as, oily marks.This allegedly was new and came from Draper. If so, it is poor. If its a second hand item, that's mis-selling.Either way, I can't recommend it. Maybe go buy one from a bricks and morter shop instead.
