If you can't read the labels/expiration dates in the supermarket or on medicine bottles, but you don't want to carry full reading glasses with you, this sticks in your pocket (though it won't leave room for much else - but it can be used as a key chain), and you can whip it out, read what you need, then put it back in your pocket. The magnification is plenty, and the field is wide enough. So I would give it five stars, except that the the little spot super-magnifier doesn't seem to me to be good for anything, but maybe if I were examining a diamond I'd feel different. :) The light is nice and bright enough, though I don't know yet how long the batteries will last. Really, it's pretty much a limited-use product - you wouldn't want to try to use for actual book reading or anything like that - but the use is one that is very good to have, and it fulfills that need very well.

It was slightly larger than I expected but that could be a good thing. It would fit in my pants pocket but would be quite large to carry around in it all day. Check the size to see if it works for you (like I forgot to do).What I liked about this purchase is that they threw in 2 credit card sized magnifiers. Perfect for small typed menus in dark restaurants. Thanks!

A super small sized magnifying glass to keep in one's purse/pocket to read the teeny tiny print which is so prevalent nowadays while out & about. It's also handy for reading certain prescription directions. Like that its covered so the glass stays clean plus unscratched.

Got for Mom and she used the slot as are big enough to see a lot with and Cary in purse.
