My last Miele lasted me thirty years. Had to replace due to shortage in power head. I’ve noticed more plastic than my first one but the suction is still great. Won’t have any other brand.

The labyrinthine designations that miele uses are downright ridiculous. This ad is misleading, does not contain an electrobrush nor does it support adding one later. This was a main selling point for me as the description clearly says 'electrobrush for carpets'.

We've had this unit for about 5 years, purchased at a local vacuum shop. It worked flawlessly for about half that time.....good suction, variable suction levels (for like curtains and such), great cord return, good bagging system. But a warning...if you do a lot of plush carpet vacuuming, the electrical connections to the power head will start to diminish and not make contact. This is because the insert points into the wand are plastic and the constant pushing/pulling start to wear these insertion points to the point of increasing play and loosening of the connections. Our local seller says there is no repair for this problem. I have done my best to jury-rig temporary fixes to keep it going somewhat, but it's a lost cause. At over a grand in price, we'll go back to a Kenmore and get three for the price of one Miele.
