My battery died while going through a car wash. They used an Acmount booster to get me going again.I ordered one that afternoon and I probably will never have to use it again, but it's great insurance to have on board.It didn't come in a hard shell case, but it is so well built, you don't need it...a plastic bag did just fine.

To any other women out there are reading this: if you purchase anything for your vehicle this year, BUY THIS!!! It doesn't require another person to assist you if your battery needs a jump. You can do this on your own without having to ask the sketchy weirdo for a jump because naturally, they would be the only one around. This is fantastic for anyone you love but for me as a woman, I feel safer knowing I can jump my car independently if I am stuck on the side of the road without depending on the stranger driving up in the unmarked ecoline van. Use this unit once it works great but now it will not charge back up contact it manufacture waiting on response. Update customer service was very supportive and responded positively to my issue.

bought this device a couple of weeks ago... my mom called me today with a dead battery issue and so I thought I'd try this for the first time... it did not work... I could tell that the battery was getting charged because the % on the device kept dropping and it did spark a bit when I connected... all the lights on the alligator clips were working and I was using it correctly. However it did not start my mothers car ... tried several times and the last time I left it connected for an hour before starting.... also tried pushing the little button on the clips, but to no avail.... so far, this is a piece of JUNK.

After reading reviews on many brands, I went with this one because of the ratings and because the reviewers who said it comes with a hard shell case. Are these reviews not for this product? Mine didn’t come with the case which makes it very inconvenient. How will I be able to keep it protected and keep all the parts together. This alone makes me think I should return it. Not to mention I can’t find any information on how to turn on the light!
