Used as amplifier dummy load for rebuilding valve (tube) amplifiers. Bought two and both were within 0.2 ohm of the specified 8.0 ohm. Great and work perfectly. Delivery was pretty quick as involved overseas shipping. Impressive!

Have a look at my other resistors or 50W and 200W. This green 100W resistor is barely bigger than my 50W resistor and minute compared with the 200W version.Shows that cheap isn’t doing it.

These are both supposed to be 8 ohm +/- 5%, so they should range from 7.6 ohm to 8.4 ohm at most. These are both over 10 ohm?!

ウィンカーのバルブを21w→5wに交換するときハイフラ防止するのに購入しました。2wとかのLEDなら本当は6Ωがいいらしいのですが、8Ωに2wのLEDでも問題なく使えそうです。

Got these for testing an amplifier - I wanted to ensure continuous operation under a load, not just voltage output to an open circuit.The well-made pieces measured very close to 8 ohms (at most 0.1 ohm off).I would suggest that the "100W" rating is a maximum short-term rating, not by any means an RMS continuous rating. I ran these at 8v across their terminals, for a dissipated power of 8W each. In a few minutes the resistors could still be touched briefly but were too hot to handle. That makes physical sense given the relatively small size and mass of these items. If they were firmly attached to large metallic heatsinks (each has two mounting holes for this purpose), then they could handle a bit more continuous power.I relate all this not as any deficiency of the items - they worked splendidly at a reasonable power - but to put the 100W rating into context for other prospective users.

Perfecto en Calidad y sobre todo en precio no hay nada mejor con este precio.Son dos resistencias no una por ello muy recomendable.
