Godrej 1.5 Ton 3 Star, 5 Years Comprehensive Warranty, 5-in-1 Convertible Cooling, Inverter Split AC (Copper, Heavy-Duty Cooling at 52 Deg Celcius, AC 1.5T EI 18TINV3R32 WWD, White)

I purchased this Godrej 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC (2024 model) from Amazon during March 2024 and it is working fine.This detailed product review is after 12 months of usage and about the delivery of the new Godrej AC, buyback of old Sansui AC, brand installation of new AC and mainly about the product.This Godrej 1.5 Ton 3 star Inverter split AC was promptly delivered by Amazon on the next day itself. First I received a call at 10 am in the morning asking to uninstall the old AC (indoor unit, outdoor unit, copper tube and AC remote) as I had purchased the new AC under the buyback of old AC. The delivery person asked to inform after uninstalling the old AC as it was a working AC.So, I contacted a local AC service person who used to come for servicing the old AC and asked him to uninstall the old AC, he came in the afternoon and he had charged Rs.800 for uninstalling the old AC. Then after uninstalling the old AC, I informed Amazon. The Amazon delivered the new Godrej AC in the evening in two boxes (outdoor unit and indoor unit).At the time of ordering the new 1.5 ton Godrej split AC, Amazon offered Rs.6000 for the buyback for the old 1.5 ton Sansui split AC. At the time of delivery of new AC and pickup of the old AC, the delivery person inspected the old AC, took few photos and uploaded the photos to some WhatsApp group of theirs. Then after few minutes they informed that they cannot give a buyback value of Rs.6000 and said they can give a buyback value of only Rs.5500 as the old outdoor unit was slightly rusted. So I was asked to pay this difference of Rs.500 in the buyback value, which I paid as it was still a reasonable deal. After delivery of new Godrej 1.5 ton Inverter split AC, I received a SMS in the late evening from the brand for installation.The installation was scheduled the next day at 10:30 am. A person from the brand called and asked if I need any extra items such as stabilizer or wall mount unit, etc for the installation.I informed that I already have a 4kVA stabilizer and asked to bring a set of wall mount kit alone for mounting the outdoor unit for which I was asked to pay Rs.1200 additional at the time of installation. I accepted.One person promptly came at 11 am for the installation from the brand (I expected two people would come, but yet only one person came for the installation) and he completed the installation promptly and to my satisfaction.This Godrej 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC was purchased during March 2024, Amazon selling price was Rs.30,990 (March 2024), I paid Rs.24,900 to Amazon (under exchange of old split AC).Brand installation Rs.1415 extra (i.e. 1199 + 18% GST) this was very clearly specified in the Amazon website. So no hidden cost.This Godrej 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter Split AC is working fine for the past 12 months.It comes with 5-in-1 Convertible Cooling (so we can set 40%, 60%, 80%, 100% or 110% tonnage).It's Inverter compressor is super quite, power saving and it has a very silent operation (can't feel any sound of the AC running, as I had fixed the outdoor unit slightly away from the window and at a good height using the separately purchased wall mount kit from the installation team).It has 100% Copper Condenser Coil and this AC comes with Blue fin anti corrosive coating which will hopefully give long life to this product.This 3 star AC comes with 3.85 ISEER energy rating, 965.71 kilowatt hours per year annual energy consumption, 1150 m3/hour Air flow, 4800W cooling capacity at 100% and 2400W cooling capacity at 50%.This AC comes with a small, cute and simple remote (and comes without batteries, you have to purchase two AAA batteries separately. The product could have been bundled with batteries). The remote comes with temperature up & down setting, fan speed control, Turbo mode to cool the room quickly, Sleep settings, Timer, Display on & off, Vertical swing on & off, i-Sense, Dry, Cool, Fan, Auto settings.It has green R32 refrigerant, so less impact on ozone & environment and very quick cooling of my 16 feet x 11 feet bed room (176 sq.ft. with 3 windows and two doors). It is a Made in India product.In this Godrej AC, the maximum temperature that can be set is 31° and the minimum temperature that can be set is 16°. But I usually set a temperature of 27°, it is neither too cold or too hot, just ideal pleasent temperature which we prefer.During the last one year no one from the brand or service provider (who came for the installation) contacted me for the free service.Generally most brands do 2 to 4 free service / preventive maintenance during the warranty period like cleaning the filters and fins both for the indoor unit and outdoor unit. However to my shock no one contacted me till date from the brand or installation team for the free service. Hence I am doing the monthly service myself by cleaning the filters in the indoor unit every month.So far the AC is running fine without any issue.I will give an update in case if the brand contacts me after reading this review.Also, I shall offer a detailed product review after prolonged usage about their service during the warranty period. This product comes with 1 year standard brand warranty for the product, 5 years extended warranty on the PCB and 10 years extended warranty on the compressor.

Like - Cooling effect even in Delhi heat is good.Dislike - Paid Rs 1500.00 for installation and the installation date was fixed on 25th May, 2024. However, to my great surprise the installation date automatically shifted to 28th May, 2024 on Amazon. On contacting the number provided by Amazon itself, the person first refused and then asked to cancel the installation contract and then only he was ready to come for installation. Frustrated by his behaviour I cancelled the installation contract and got it done by the local contractor. I am still waiting to get my refund of rs 1500 against cancellation. Hope Amazon and Godrej look into this. Thanks

Bangalore location,First they charged 1450 installation + 1150 for stand + 150 for plug+ 2000 for water pipe fitting total ~4500 RsThen only after the installation was done and i paid 4500Rs, the next day i got a call from godrej service center that wrong AC was sent to me, the compressor is 1.5 Ton but the indoor pannel was 1 Ton, they even gave a job sheet which i am attaching and asked me to replace the ACThen they said they will charge extra for un-installation and then more money when they install back the new ACI Manually checked the bill and AC and there was no mismatch in the serial number and both the units were of 1.5 tonWhen I informed that the AC was correct, service center said that they will not provide me any warranty if anything happens in future.Terrible and Pathetic customer service, although the AC is working fine i doubt what will happen to the claimed 5 year warranty.

super aircon, never expected it to be this good.performs and completes with panasonic, hitachi etcair flow is very strong like above brands and also generalhighly recommended as it is today

Technician not installed AC properly But Charge very high like Example tape, clam, Hole fixing, pipe etc. Standard installation charge around 1500 & other materiel charge not fix 1k 2k, 5k if are you want to buy material outside but they are not give time to buy, and if are you already buy the material Even then charge name off fitting, it's big scam. We have no right to installed Ac from outside.2. Ac Not cooling properly. Taken Long time cooling the room .

I purchased the "Godrej 1.5 Ton 3 Star Inverter AC with 5 Years Comprehensive Warranty and 5-in-1 Convertible Cooling," and overall, I'm quite satisfied. The cooling performance is impressive, definitely better than my previous LG AC. In fact, I often set it to 28°C because the cooling is so effective. However, I did face an issue with the remote—it sometimes stops working, which can be frustrating. Despite that, the AC itself works really well, and I’m happy with its performance. If the remote worked consistently, it would be perfect!
