Really soft material and made well. The only problem I had with the dress is that the bottom portion is heavier material than the top, so it pulls down on the black fabric. You can see it in the picture. Bought the 6/7 size, and my daughter is almost 7, roughly 48 inches and 45 pounds; very slim. Pockets are a cool feature. Colors are great. Love the floor length, too! Just wish the top wasn't so stretchy.

I purchased this for my tall slender 12 year old daughter and it fits nicely. She is just under 5 feet tall and the dress is floor length. I am pleased with the dress so far. We have not washed it yet so hopefully the color does not fade or the dress shrink.

My daughter is 9yo and is the average height for a 9yo. She wears a size 12/14. She is not slim, but is not really chunky either. She’s just built thick. I purchased the size 12, and I would say it fit pretty well. My main complaint is that there is ZERO stretch to this dress, which makes it a tad uncomfortable in the arms and it makes it hard for her to get on and off without some help. The neckline seems a little off, or something about it just seems... off, but it’s not too bad. Overall, I think this is a very pretty dress and am happy with the purchase. I just wish it were made with different material...

The fabric is so soft on this knit! My daughter is tall and slender for her age and I knew that the dress would be about mid calf for her when I ordered it. If I ordered the next size up, it would have been too wide...but to her ankles. That issue is more about body shape than the design of this dress. Just a heads up if your girl is tall, it won't go to the floor. It still looked beautiful on her and she said it was just so comfortable. She loved the pockets! I may have to go back and order other patterns and colors. The size charts are spot on so read them carefully.

Back on the site to order another dress. Bought this in March 2018 for my 55lb, 8 yr old. The fit is perfect in the body. Sizing up 1 this time for the sleeves which seem to run a little snug. Age 8 was a medium.

The dress is very comfortable and they love wearing it. It washes well, too. I don't put it in the dryer, because clothing often shrinks in the dryer. I dfinitely don't want these pretty dresses to shrink! Instead, I hang them up and let them dry on their own. It works out perfectly. I had to cut off some material fromt he bottom of one of the dresses that I bought because it was way too long, but after that it's a nice dress. However, the dress shouldn't have been that long.

My preteen daughter needed a dress for an autumn daytime wedding. Her requirements were something comfortable, classy, and warm. We tried about 15 different dresses before finding this one. She said it was so soft and comfortable. It was very age-appropriate (not too baby-ish and not too adult). My only small complaint is that I specifically ordered long sleeves because of the time of year, and the item that arrived had short sleeves. However, she loved the dress so much that we easily remedied this with a simply black cardigan over. Now she can wear this dress through several seasons, so it all worked out.

My daughter LOVES her new maroon flower dress. It almost hits the floor, which is what we wanted. I got a size 6 and she is a tall 5 year old. It looks adorable on her.
