Love Divine: inspirational CD by pianist Mulder & London Symphony Orchestra (As the deer, Abide with me, It is well, Amazing Grace, Sanctus, and others)

Was not familiar with Mulder but plan to purchase more of his CD's

This is a masterpiece of orchestra with piano highlights. Totally relaxing! I will be purchasing more of Mr. Mulder’s work.

I have purchased all of Love Divine albums (5) because the music is incredibly gorgeous and soothing. Jan Mulder is an amazing pianist who often conducts his orchestra with one hand while playing his 10'2" Fazioli grand piano with the other hand. He also writes his own music and sometimes composes new arrangements for old hymns that are stunning. I cannot say enough good about his music. He has plenty of other cd's out that are not hymns but exceptional, classical-type music. I have all of them - they are that good! In addition, Seller's Customer Service is second to none: a bunch of cd's were missing from 2 separate shipments and we're replaced within a few days. Top notch service!. Thank you, Sandra!

I chose this rating because I am really enjoying immensely listening to this CD recording. I had not previously heard of this artist and his music, but the description of it appeared to be appealing, providing a style of music I enjoy. This proved to be correct. On receiving and listening to this CD, I immediately liked it. It is "easy-listening" music; the style, the expertise of the pianist backed by a very well known and much-loved orchestra and the choice of items is providing me with a great deal of enjoyment and pleasure. Its music provides excellent and soothing background music. It compares very favourably to many other CD's I have of similar music both in terms of content and quality. Without doubt, it has met my expectations full and I am so pleased that I purchased it.. I would recommend this CD to friends and family without any hesitation.

This is a first class performance of classical arrangements of well known Christian songs and beloved traditional hymns. The LSO is one of the preeminent orchestras in the world, and perfectly matched with the sensitive and brilliant piano of Jan Mulder. The pervasive atmosphere is one of worship. The performance is technically perfect, but it never eclipses the sense of profound awe at Who is being celebrated. I got this CD for my 93 year old Dad for his birthday. He seemed pleased & said the music was very nice. As long as he’s happy, that’s all that matters. He loves hymns & inspirational music.

Really nice album. I am thinking about buying a different album. I would highly recommend.

I have NEVER been more BLESSED by another music CD other than the LOVE DIVINE CD, by Jan Mulder. I have recently shared it with a dear widow friend who is a full time caregiver to her 93 year old Mother, she is fortunate enough to have a central music system in her home, and as that music plays throughout her home, it soothes, comforts and brings joy into every room.I have also shared with a friend whose son was killed by a drunk driver. Jan Mulder's LOVE DIVINE CD has been such a gift and blessing to her.Jan Mulder's music has the ability to take the spirits of the needy and hurting to a place where only God lives.God bless Jan Mulder and those who help to get his music out to others.

Jan Mulder brings music alive on the piano. His arrangements with the London Symphony Orchestra are excellent.The mixture of familiar Hymns with the Classical pieces are beautiful.I have ordered over 10 CD'S for friends and relatives as gifts !The music would be appropriate as background to meditative group experiences or just self relaxation.

The music is so beautiful it had me in tears. It really helps you to focus on what God done for us. Ideal back ground music for your daily Bible study. My husband liked it so much he asked me to order another one for him.

I don’t normally moan but.......good lord. This CD was purchased on the strength of it’s exemplary rendering of Caccini’s Hymn - a pleasant enough melody so often churned out on Classic FM. But the rest of the tracks! Oh my! It is like being trapped in a Florida hotel elevator whilst your ears are assailed by some very naff interpretations of some very naff tunes and you can’t get out.
