Complex, Thrilling and Beautiful!
It’s probably the best fiction I have read recently. The combination of ancient & philosophical concepts, world politics, current affairs, drama weaved with effortless storytelling is spell binding.

Fast paced and knowledgable
Peeps into history, spirituality with ease and woven into a good storyline. Kudos to the writer for keeping the reader engaged.

The master at it again!
I am just astounded by the amount of research that has gone in this book. To weave an absolute nail biter with it is... have no more adjectives to describe it! I wish Amazon make this into a webseries!

Ashwin and the quantum twin!!
The Keepers of the Kalchakra by Ashwin Sanghi....Apply laws of quantum physics to astrology and you get this!!...Imagine that you have a quantum twin!.... That means there's someone just like you who is sharing your energy!.... He or she may be in some other part of the world though!... When you sleep is when he or she gets up!... What you have seen in your dream in probably what he or she would have done awake!!.... Much like the movie Avatar!.... There comes a point where dream and day unite!! (Reminds me of a pink Floyd album!!)..... But the core use of this is that is someone is the quantum twin of say the Prezi of a big country and you want to kill him or her then all you have to do is kill the more accessible twin!!....The premise was good and the way Ashwin handles it is usually on par with Dan Brown. So if you are big on Dan Brown novels then you will definitely like this one cause this is closer to your home!.... Though the colonial hangover will obviously prevent most to even admit that they read Ashwin!...Like his previous books, this one too is full of the ancient history so to speak though in this one the treatment starts very rationally but gets magical (literally!!) In the end!!....References to Budha, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Ravana and finally the Lotus which is the center of discussion even in the country!!...Lots of twists and surprises as usual and lots of ancient information packaged for the modern minds so to speak!...This one may not be as good as his epic The Rozabel Line but it's not as bad as the private Delhi!....The regulars will like it since it is clear that Ashwin has done a lot of reading before writing this one and it shows....Others can go and read Dan Brown origin once again just for the spite!!.....But trust me this is better!!

Too much detail
Good story but way too much detail which makes it difficult for the story to flow. The endless background stories are good at first but become tedious when they come at inappropriate points

For science geeks more than thrill seeker
This book is for total science geeks and aficionados, the details on quantum physics were so much in detail, sometime I got list or lost the plot that was being discussed. In lot of places that info could have been limited to minimum. The flow and plot was good though.

Overall a nicely written thriller which has more positives than the letdowns.
Let us take a bird's eye view of the plot of the book:The Plot:There are two distinct souls who had almost similar tragic past. The life wasn’t started in good terms for them. Though rather than crying for what they didn’t get by birth, they focused on achieving by hard work supported by their talents. The boy became one of the best research analysts in the world of Physics, and the girl’s love for biology brought her to a remarkable position in her field. The boy got a job in a research company which is considered as the best in the world and he had to live in isolation for a remarkable period. The girl had to perform her research for some rare-to-find herbs in the area where due to the security reasons, the permission from the ministry is required. Unknown to them, their area of work will be very near to each other. And so does the circumstance. The Islamic terrorism is rising around the world and some hardliners made the life hell for the many. Europe is on unrest. But, the rest of the world cannot live the life of peace. Prominent figures from all powerful countries around the world started being attacked mysteriously.Who is behind all these tragic incidents and why he/she is doing it? Or is it an organization? And how all these threads are linked together.Views and Reviews:When you read the book, it starts with attacks, murders and tragic incidents. And, this review talks about the rags to reaches stuff and a love story; so you may think that I got it wrong. Actually, no. But, it is one of the best part of the book according to me. I like the way the characters of Vijay and Sujatha are written. The other thing I like in the book is the absence of adult material. Nowadays it is a fashion amongst writers to use cuss words and write at a length about adulteries in order to woo a specific set of readers. The author bravely talks about various religions and terrorism and that too without being controversial, it is an art, indeed. The strong characters of the book makes it an interesting read. And yes, the author tries giving justice to all the characters in the book and the gender of the character doesn’t have any influence on the same. Now, this is called, real gender equality. The book has some printing/writing mistakes, but overall it is a gripping read.I bought it during a book promotion (Kindle EBook), and as the book is costly, you should also do the same :).Rating:Around 8 stars out of 10.
