First Check Cholesterol Home Test, Pack of 6

I have used a first check home cholesterol test purchased from CVS or other drug store a bunch of times, but haven't seen this version before that tests HDL and LDL. Usually paid about $20-$21 for box of 2 tests that only tested total cholesterol, so this is a good deal. I never looked online before today. One time I tested the accuracy of the test kit by using it the same day I went to my doctor for professional cholesterol test. The results from First Check (for total chol) were virtually identical to doctor's blood test sent to lab (coming back days later), so they seem pretty accurate. I look forward to trying this version with HDL & LDL tests.The first test kit I used today worked fine, but the second test with my wife's blood didn't register, blood apparently didn't get to the test strip in the device, or the test strip is defective. First time that has happened. I'm going to email them to send a replacement.

Lancets are too weak to actually penetrate skin.Results are very hard to read.

This test doesn't test anything just leaves you with a bloody finger.

This is worse than useless.
