This face pad is a must have. It is soft and cushioned. The silicone is easy to clean and helps keep it more sanitary to share with others. Sweat easily wipes off between uses. Easy to install

It blocks more light and is more gentle on your face. Until you pull it off. Then it sticks a bit. But over all it's better. If you mess with all the adjustments I think you can get the cloth face piece pretty close to this but not quite as far. It is easier to clean. You'll never get cloth clean as easy as rubber.

I would say this facial interface is decent. It feels cool, although a bit stuffy if that makes sense. After some use it sticks a bit, but is easy to clean.Design wise, it’s identical to the stock facial interface. The plastic is the same, and the shape of the silicone is identical to the foam on the stock interface. The difference is the material that makes contact with your face. So for me the fit is the same, the feel is just different.What I ended up doing is I got VR Cover cloth covers for the stock interface. It wraps around the foam part of the facial interface and is held on with elastic bands. Think of it like a fitted sheet on a mattress. If you buy them on Amazon you get a 2 pack and they are washable. For me these were more comfortable and breathable. If I were to compare them, the silicon interface is like a leather couch feeling wise, and the VR Cover is like a pillow.I would say this is a very subjective thing. You can’t go wrong with either options.

It’s a bit overpriced, it it makes a big difference that you are able to clean it after use. It feels more comfortable than the original and it doesn’t absorb the sweat. Great upgrade!

So much better than the included facial interface. My son likes playing action games in which he works up a sweat. The facial interface that comes with the Meta Quest 3 is cloth and soaks up sweat. Kinda gross. The silicone is easy to wipe clean and more comfortable.

I decided to buy this facial interface because the stock cloth interface seemed a bit hard and felt like it was putting too much pressure on my forehead.I pulled up a 3rd party instructional video to see how to remove the old interface and how to install this new one. It was relatively easy and after realizing it's as simple as yanking the old one out and snapping the new one in, I turned off the video and did it easily in about thirty seconds.When I put the headset on my face for the first time I thought it did feel noticeably more comfortable on my face. I didn't have the sensation of too much pressure on my forehead like I did with the stock interface. It also seemed like it blocked a little more peripheral light, leading to a more immersive experience once the headset was turned on. Now for the bad: As someone who sweats a lot, the material on this caused me to sweat a lot more than I did with the other interface when playing games like Racket Club or Beat Saber. When I took the headset off after playing two five-minute matches there were already beads of sweat on the interface. This could be a pretty big con for a lot of people and to be completely honest I am weighing if this is a deal breaker for me or not. I will say it is pretty easy to just wipe off the sweat to clean the interface but I would recommend considering this issue before buying.

After using the standard cloth interface on my MQ3 for six months, I decided to switch to the silicone facial interface, especially as I started increasing my use with fitness apps. I'm very happy with this upgrade. The silicone is much more practical when you break a sweat during gaming sessions. It's easy to wipe down and feels much cleaner than having your sweat absorbed by the cloth interface.The instructions provided with the silicone interface were a bit lacking in detail, but a quick online search helped me find a helpful installation video. I'm curious to see how well the interface holds up over time, but so far, I'm very pleased with this purchase. It's a solid improvement for anyone who uses their MQ3 for fitness or intense gaming.
