I'm a general contractor and also have a Cultural Music degree, so I need the hearing protection and appreciate good sound quality. If you enjoy listening to a wide variety of music and want to protect your hearing, these are great.First of all, in terms of audio, these headphones fall a bit short of providing deep, rich bass. However, in terms of sound quality they have an acceptable low range combined with a nice mid range and crisp higher frequency response. I like to listen to all types of music, and the audio response depends on what type of music you are listening to. "Crazy Train" by Ozzie will be a little disappointing because the thumping bass just isn't there. On the other hand, Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" isn't bad at all.The build quality is great, maybe more suitable for studio use than something to wear while hanging drywall and sweating like crazy. But, if you get them dirty, they can be wiped off easily.I have not dropped them, but they feel like they could handle a drop just as well as any other hearing protection muffs. They are nice and comfortable to wear. The side buttons provide muting, volume, and power control and are easy to find and operate.Phone calls seem to work well both for hearing and being heard.

Reading the reviews, I was somewhat hesitant about ordering this headset for lawn mowing. There seems to be quite the selection of brands to choose from and each has a myriad assortment of reviews. The PROHEAR 037 had some of the better reviews though, so I gave them a shot. The headset fit quite well over my ball style cap and the cushioned ear muffs completely covered my ears. After cutting a few minutes, I took them off to compare noise levels and WOW, I don't think I'll ever cut without a pair again. I cut for about an hour and then decided to get my phone and try out the Bluetooth connectivity. Honestly, I didn't expect this to go well, but I was happily disappointed in that regard. The set paired right up with my Android phone and I quickly had the classic rock jam going. It is certainly true that the bass is lacking ( I imagine due to the space between the ear and the speaker) however, I found the listening experience very good for a non auto noise canceling headset in an admittedly harsh environment. I thought I lost Bluetooth connection a couple of times before realizing the phone was using local wifi and I was traveling out of range. After disabling the wifi connection I experienced no more pauses or drops. I would certainly recommend this set for extended wear. In three cutting sessions I have racked up a little over 14 hours of headset use with very little discomfort at all. One last thing, unlike my are chair listening set, the control buttons on this set are easy to locate and use and although I can hear phone callers with ease, they all had a bit of a time hearing me over the mower I didn't shut off.😀

Good headphones, useful for yard work. Speaker quality is decent but not significantly better than other cheap headphones. Noise cancellation and hearing protection is great. Battery life is good enough, but lower battery model needs to charge every 3 sessions or so. Get the larger battery model if you want to go more time without needing to charge it.The build quality is solid enough, but the ear cups themselves might come off if you drop it, you can easily pop them back on, but I could see it requiring glue or tape later in its life.It also has a weird bug where if sometimes the left speaker will be lower volume than the right one, which you need to lower and re raise the volume to fix. Not a super big issue, but might be annoying if you don't want to be messing with the phone too often.Personally I would avoid the Gel cups if you have larger ears, they take awhile to break in and get slightly more comfortable later on, but you might have better luck just getting the regular ones for cheaper.

Just got this in and was pretty excited to check the audio quality because I like to jam while working in the yard cutting grass or using the chainsaw. The setup was very easy just like any other Bluetooth device and the audio quality was pretty good (certainly not a professional sound system but this isn't the focus of this product). Usually other devices hurt your ear drums after using them because the audio quality is terrible (too much treble), but these do not...great quality audio and even better ear protection from loud noises. I use this product while weed wracking, mowing the grass, and cutting logs with the chainsaw and it certainly protects my hearing while giving me a beat to work to. They are just a little bit too tight around my head and I don't have a big head, but I can't say I really am complaining because I never had them fall off with all the work I do, so really this is an added benefit.My 4 year old daughter has another kids version of this by another company but she always requests to use this one, and I can't blame her. This product works great and I would buy again if I had to. I habe had mine for almost a year now and they are still holding strong.

They are comfortable and produce great sound. Really helpful when working on the tractor or riding mower. And the functions are easy too operate.

I have used these for 2 weeks and find them very effective at sound reduction and decent audio quality. The cups are comfortable enough for several hours of mowing. My only issue is they only work with a baseball style cap and not my bigger brimmed hats.

I have had a couple pairs of a similar product by 3m, neither of which were durable enough for a construction site. These headphones are heavy and hot, but comfortable and functional. Music sounds ok, but i use them for podcasts, audiobooks and phone calls. They seem well built and the battery lasts 3 work days without charging. To me they are well worth the price.

Needed to replace some old ear muffs and these are proving to be good. Covers the mower noise and I get music.

I'm happy with the purchase. Pros: Easy to connect; good firm fit over hat and covers ears; cuts out most of the lawn tractor noise; easy to charge; battery last for the time I'm working haven't tested beyond that;, good quality build and seems durable; easy to use headset on/off, volume, even with gloves on; sound quality is good though our have to crack up the volume to listen to music when riding the lawn tractor. Cons: it charges with a USB Micro-B connector rather than the new USB-C standard; Noise canceling is good but could be better

The hearing protection is pretty good. About what you would expect from a decent set of muffs. Ive run my lawn mower, plunge router, and compound miter saw using these and I have no complaints about the ear protection.The first time I paired to this headset I got a lot of interfearence, but since seems to have sorted itself out. The range is more than I need, I usually have my phone in my pocket anyway, but have left it on a shelf and wandered away without noticing audio cut out in my house or yard.The audio quality is not so great. Its very thin and tinny, sort of abrasive. Granted its difficult to get decent audio out of this sort of form factor, but these are pushing close to unnacceptable. With some EQing I can get podcasts to ve reasonably listenable, music is a little tougher with no bass.Maybe in time the drivers will loosen up and not sound so harsh?Battery life is excellent. Charges fairly quickly so not a lot of down time. The volume doesnt get too loud, so not much chance of your safety gear hurting your ears in that way.Seems about as rugged as any other hearing protection, i wouldnt want to be too rough but they do come with a bad.Overall a decent product. If yout not too worried about audio quality these do a decent job. They do a decent enough job without spending what the bigger brands charge.

I use it in my tractor all the time. Connects wirelessly and the sound is decent for the price. I'd recommend it.
