Exceptional customer service!!
In preparation for a trip to France we have been collecting resources to help our ears get tuned to French being spoken. This cd is a great addition to our library of resources. I must comment that we had a chance to interact with FoodieG's customer relations and it was a very positive experience. I would say they are very close to meeting the amazing standard for customer service set by Amazon. I recommend FoodieG highly.

Much better than the others
Finally a French CD that spells it out for my kids. They request favorites, sing a long and then sing (or try their best) the songs on their own. Most of all, each song has a different sound, sometimes with different singers. Unlike many other CDs on the market, this one isn't boring. I need to find where I can buy vol. 2 or more. My only complaint is that I wish the CD contained double the number of songs!

Fun!
These songs are fun (some lively, some soft) and the album comes with the lyrics printed in French and in English next to them in addition to the introduction to each song in English. My daughters are 7 and 8 and always ask for this CD when we get in the car to go somewhere. The songs are easy to sing along to as well.

Fun and Easy to understand
My 6 year old is in a French immersion school so this was bought for her. I was shocked by how much her siblings love the cd and how easy it is for them to follow along. The songs are cute so we all end up singing them in the car.

Fun! Fun! Fun!
The singer has a clear, beautiful voice, and is joined by some fun kids in some songs and a man in another. The songs are simple, sometimes fun and sometimes beautiful. It's a fun and easy way to connect with my child while driving, but we even take it inside the house to listen and to dance to the music. We love this cd!

French childrens songs as a vocabulary aid
I bought this as a fun way to practice French vocabulary. There is an insert with English and French Lyrics. One song "J'aime la Gallette" has the song and then the spoken verson with pause for repeating." A gallette is a pastry with butter inside according to the translation.

Cute tunes but too advanced for beginners
This CD is not for beginners. Even my husband who has had several years of French said it was a bit advance for young children. There are some nice tunes and will come handy as we progress further in the language.

Excellent!
Great choice when looking for a way to learn French the fun way. The narration voice before each song , describing what the song is about and guiding you in pronouncing the words correctly is very calming and sounds like a very typical French teacher. I love the way it is so interactive. A perfect gift for a family.
