BirkenstockArizona Eva Mules/Clogs Men Black Mules Shoes

Have been wearing Birkenstocks for a few years now and this is the 2nd pair of EVA ones I've bought. The sizing is the same as for the standard ones. I am a size 5 in most shoes but take a 37 in Birkenstock, which is sometimes advertised as 4 or as 4.5. UK size 5 will be a size 38, which is my usual continental size, so think Birkenstocks just come up a bit larger than most brands. The first pair I bought in a shop where I could try them on, so knew I was 37 in these. I think Birkenstock's website has a sizing guide, if you're unsure about your size in these or any other Birkenstocks (I find the different ones I've tried to be consistent size-wise, so am a 37 in all styles). I find all Birkenstocks I've tried so far very comfortable, although I prefer the styles like these with more than one strap, as they don't "flop" so much when walking. I like the EVA ones because waterproof for gardening etc. I've been wearing the last pair I bought more or less every day around the house and garden, and have washed them quite a lot under hot water, sometimes using soap or detergent, and they lasted 10 months. Now, the front straps are breaking away from the shoe bed, and the shoe bed is starting to crack there, too, where you bend them to walk, so bought a new pair. The only thing I find with the EVA ones is that they come off a bit more easily, so I have to tighten the straps more than you're supposed to. I prefer mine a bit tighter anyway - according to Birkenstock, the straps should be loose enough to let most of your sole rise from the shoe bed when walking. You're supposed to grip the shoe bed with your toes. but that doesn't seem to work too well for me - they say you're supposed to get used to it, but even after weeks, I still found myself suddenly loosing a shoe even with the normal cork sole ones, and this is a bit more so with these, probably because they're a bit less flexible than the cork soles. But this is a minor issue and they're still very comfortable. For the price, I find these last well (you can't expect EVA shoes to last forever), and are practical for when you want waterproof shoes/sandals. I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out, and would recommend.

These are just like my old EVA birks n are very comfy and super bright. I was however expecting standard fit but was sent narrow fit (width).Having looked at comments and other reviews etc I think this is what I was supposed to get and it isn't too much of a problem as they do fit, the wider ones would have just been a bit more comgortable.I just think the information on the page isnt very clear around the fit

After ordering and returning about 5 pairs of various Birkenstock designs - don't even get me started on the sizing on the drop-down menu, what a nightmare - I have concluded that for wide feet, the Mayari and Rio are the best fit, as they are just that little bit extra wide (ie the normal width on these is 1-2 cm wider than some of the other designs; I believe the Arizona is also wider). I'm a size 7 in pretty much every other brand but the Birks I have bought in various stores have always been 38 so when I ordered these Mayari online, I plumped for a UK 5.5, which - ta-daa! - were indeed delivered as a 38 and fit perfectly. For a chunky and somewhat NHS-y style of sandal, they look surprisingly dainty on. I have a good mind to order them in every colour. It would be rude not to. Thanks also to Amazon for being great with returns and refunds.

Very nice sandals but despite following the Birkenstock size guide and confirming by email with Birkenstock a size two sizes smaller than I usually wear in non-Birkenstock shoes, the sandals are indeed too small. The returns process - something that previously gave me cause to worry and on this occasion more so - edit: that said, the sandals have been returned and I've been refunded.I've tried a few pairs of Birkenstock Arizona and Milano sandals and the quality varies enough to be quickly noticeable. Damaged / separating leather, glue smeared beyond contact surfaces, contact surfaces not glued in places, holes for buckles not evenly spaced and beginning in different places on the straps and two pairs that I have bought have not been size labelled correctly. For the money paid, in my opinion, not good enough. Birkenstock customer service by email is also very poor.Amazon service is excellent - I think it is beyond what can be reasonably expected.Edited as I think originally I was too harsh on Amazon and too lenient on Birkenstock. I have returned my last pair of Birkenstock sandals, it seems, after many pairs tried, they aren't for me. Marketing wizardry? I'm inclined to think so.

Bought a size 44 and it fits perfectly for my size 11 Mens feet. Very comfy and took less time to wear in as traditional Birkenstocks with a leather insole. I wish the orange was more vibrant, but the shoes look fantastic.
