CATERTO Women Ultra Light Down Packable Hooded Coat

I love this coat! It is exactly what I wanted. I will be traveling from warm weather (tee shirt and sandals) to weather that is rainy and cold and I need something to pack that doesn't take up weight or room and will keep me warm. This is perfect!! I am 5'7, 138# and my coat says XL on the inside. (Apparently that is XXXL, Asian size.) I read the reviews and saw that a woman who was 5'7 and weighed 140# ordered the US XL, so I did too. It is just what I wanted in a fit! The US XL (that I got) fits well over a sweater. It is perfect! It does not look fitted as in the picture, but perhaps if I had ordered my true size and it fit more snugly, it would look fitted. I am happy with the fit and look. My husband says it does not look like a tent or a sack, so that's a positive review! The length is perfect too - as it comes mid thigh, which is exactly what I wanted for sitting on benches, busses, etc. Sleeves are nice and long, past my wrist but not too long. I wore it today to check warmth. I had only a long sleeve tee shirt underneath. Temperature is 40* light rain and wind. My hands got cold but I put them in the side zip pockets and I was very warm. Great wind breaker. The hood is weird, I will admit. It is gathered up around the top. But I do not like a small hood that does not cover all my head. And I don't like a hood that falls too far forward and limits my vision. This does come forward, but if I push it up, it stays there. I have long hair and often wear a clip, which this hood will accommodate. And I don't like my hair whipping around in the wind, so I do need a hood that will stay in place. This will work well. The collar looks nice when the hood is not up. The fabric does feel thin (as some reviewers complained about). But it does not feel like it is going to rip easily. The thin fabric is why I ordered this. I do not want the bulk of heavier material. All in all, I am very happy with this coat and will use it for travel to cooler places. I may end up wearing it more here at home too, as it is not bulky and very comfortable. I love the cocoa color too!

This is the best winter coat I have ever bought! It fit as expected and I have had no issues with it. It is very compact and insanely warm. The hood is a little bit big but it allows for extra room to wear ear muffs or another hat underneath.

This coat fit great, loved the length & I love the color. Those are good attributes. The bad points; the zipper gave me problems from the beginning, one pocket got a hole & had to be stitched after two weeks of wear. The worst point is that the little tiny feathers come through the inside of the coat & stick/embed in whatever I am wearing. I wear black often & thousands of tiny white feathers all over my clothes was not a good look. Quite a disappointment.

The color was a little greener than in the picture, almost -- but not quite -- teal. I hate teal. The fabric is quite shiny and rather plastic-looking. I guess this is part of the water-proof feature. The style seems very Japanese to me. I am 130 pounds, usually wear an 8, so ordered medium. It's a little roomy, even over a turtleneck, sweater and jeans. I liked the tapered silhouette in the photo and this is a bit more boxy.I'm not sure if a small would fit me.It is very light and comes with its own stuff bag. It stuffs down small, which means I can tuck it in my suitcase just in case. At such a good price, I'm happy to have it. It also shipped sooner than they said.

Love the color but if you get caught in the rain you will smell like a dog. It’s shedding all over my car that has black intern. I’m stuck with it cause that all I could find. Very disappointing

This jacket just arrived and the quality for price is excellent. It has more filling than the short "packable down" jacket my husband just purchased locally retailing for $100. After asking the community about the actual shape of the jacket and most (including the vendor) coming back that it was "fitted", in my view, it's a rectangle - but that may due to how I'm built. I ordered my usual size in puffer vests and jackets manufactured in China (XL) (I'm 5' 5" / 140 lbs. with non-curvy build) - and the fit is perfect. The length hits me just above the knee. While it appears more matte in the photo, the fabric is very quite shiny. I was originally put off by that but it's growing on me. I believe one could wear this all (Midwest) winter long if one's life consists of a lot of sprints from parking lot to door. P/S One month later. I LOVE THIS COAT!!! The weightlessness and fit makes me feel unrestricted, enveloped in a cloud of warmth. I've noted that the coat increases in volume over time as the feathers plump after release from the manufacturer's packaging. It literally "grows" on you and any wrinkles from being compressed disappear! If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them.

I'm 8 months pregnant in December, so I got this because I was at the point I couldn't zip any of my coats any more. I read several reviews about Asian sizing and going up one to two sizes, so I ordered an XL. It is HUUUGE!!! It is way bigger than my husband's men's Large REI puffy down jacket. Pre-pregnancy, I was usually a S/M (5'3", ~125 lb), now 148 lb with a 39" belly. I'm not sure if I'll order a smaller size. It was so big, I'm not sure whether to order a L or M if I did. It did seem pretty warm when I tried it standing outside my apartment, but the collar doesn't go up very far, so there's a huge gap at the neck that lets cold air in. Quality was decent and no issues with the zipper. For the price, it's pretty good, but it would be nice if it had a lined neck collar and lined pockets.
