DOWNIGHT Two Pillow Inserts, Down and Feather Throw Pillow Insert, The Fabric is Cotton, Decorative Throw Pillows Insert, 24 X 24 Inch

I bought two 18x18 inserts a few weeks back. Loved them. Firm, well filled and comfy. On the back of that I purchased two 24x24. Very disappointed. Compared to the 18x18 they are floppy, under filled, and too empty to support in comfort. I bought them to replace two old inserts which (10 yrs old) had become exactly as I describe the new 24x24. They feel like regular feather pillows - doubt there is any down in there, and, there are feathers poking through (a lot) straight out of the package. So, I have stuffed one old and one new into each cover. And there is still room. Very underwhelmed and wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for full, comfy cushions that can support.

The softness seemed fine, however one of the pillows was shedding feathers like crazy upon opening. Not sure if it was overstuffed because it did seem fuller than the other one. The one that wasn’t shedding was actually pretty nice, but I needed both. So I may return or exchange. I also maybe would size up. I ordered 24x24 for 18x18 shams because reviews said to size up a few inches. I think one size bigger would look better for my shams.

We lived in Europe and have a sentimental attachment to the european square pillows. They are normally really expensive. I don't know if it's because these are sold as decor pillows vs. bedding pillows, but the price for two large feather pillows is amazing. Thrilled with the purchase :-)

I took it out of the package and let it air out for 48 hours. I bought it in July, it is now September. It is flat, not comfortable, and the feathers keep poking out and they HURT. DO NOT BUY.

These inserts are awesome but I do have one tip. Order a bigger size than the actual size of the pillow cover. I ordered the exact same size and they do not fill the pillow adequately. After some research, I learned that the most common recommendation is to order a cover that is 2 inches larger than the actual size of the cover. I am returning the ones I ordered and getting a bigger size.

Feels like my jeans and my pillow had a love child. It's a sturdy hard pillow but soft at the same time. Hard to explain. Goes back to shape pretty easily kinda reminds me of a feather pillow. But over all I love it, it's definitely a great edition to my bed.

These pillows could be filled just a little more, they flatten very easily and need to be fluffed up frequently. They had a mildew like smell to them and felt slightly damp but this went away after a day, I guess they just needed to air out. Other than that they are great. I bought the next size down pillow cases and they fit well.

One of the pillows had a horrible stench I could not wash out......so it was tossed........almost like mildew......buyer beware......and feathers everywhere
