These are junk. They do not work in freezing temperatures.
These simply do not work in freezing temperatures. I bought two. Neither one works correctly. The only reason I didn’t return them is because I can use them in the summer. So if you need a heated bird bath for Winter’s freezing temperatures, keep looking. Also, the assembly screws are so tiny, it is very difficult to attach the mounting hardware.

Too Warm - Birds won't use!!
We have had this birdbath up for about 3 weeks now - Northern WI freezing several nights. First, the birds won't use it. The water is too warm and there's no control to set the temp lower. Maybe when it's subzero it'll be ok, but for now, it's very warm water even when full. Secondly, it's impossible to clean. I have a tree nearby with a few leaves left and they fall into the bath, turning the water brown. The grooves in the bath make it very challenging to clean. I use a scrub brush and plant-based soap to wash it daily but some of the grooves won't release their stains. I've had heated bird baths for several years with none of these issues, but my last one puked after 5 years of use. I am hoping once the tree's leaves have dropped the water will remain clean for a bit. But that won't fix the heat issue. I have it where I can easily see it - and I've yet to see a bird on it. I have a backyard full of birds as I have numerous feeders so it's not for lack of population!

Good Quality
This birdbath came with several option for use. Hanging, pole mount, deck mount etc. I was impressed. All of the included hardware is of very good quality. I like the cord length too. I haven't needed to use it for heat yet but I will soon.

Don t waste your money!!! Addendum to earlier review re great customer service
This birdbath (while cute and I loved the color) only worked for 30 days exactly - it kept the water EXTREMELY warm which meant that it would evaporate almost 3 qts of water in 1 1/2 days as it was steaming the entire time and here in Mn we haven t even had cold weather yet. Also in 30 days we have not had 1 bird at it even tho we have plenty of birds and they know where our water feature are which leads me to believe that either it is too deep or more likely too warm...Addendum to my earlier review- I am very impressed with the customer service from this company - the very next morning after this was posted i received a msg from the seller offering a full refund and apologies that for us in Minnesota it may not have been the right product for our weather- great customer service!!! Electrocutes Birds and Humans
First and frustratingly, it failed less than a week after the 30-day return period. Second and more importantly, water somehow leaks into the electronics compartment, so the heating element bleeds electricity into the bath's bowl, thereby electrifying the water and electrocuting, temporarily stunning, and permanently terrifying birds. Likewise, it painfully electrocutes humans who test the water. We decided to stick our fingers in the water to see what was happening to the birds and why the green, "low-water" light was flashing even though the bird bath was full of, as instructed, pre-warmed water. We had used our fingers to test the water temperature many times in the first month we had it, so the electrified water shocked us (pun intended).

Not for cold climates
I had a stick heater last year and it burned out so I got this one. Lets see, sometimes it works, sometimes the water is frozen. When it does decide to work the water is hot and is steaming off. The birds do not like it. Im past my return deadline. Not for a MN winter

Easy to maintain, kept water warm
The weather is getting cold now, so I bought this heated birdbath. It's super easy to set up, the legs are adjustable, so it can keep stable. The water can be kept in liquid all day and night, but will not be too hot or too cold.Birds trust it soon, the wild lives around here are happy, I am pleased with it.
