Nice oil, light scent.
If you have a beard, oil it up or suffer the consequences of dry, itchy and flaky skin. This is a nice beard oil with a very light scent. I have had other beard oils in the past that had very distracting scents and I did not like to use them but this is pretty good.Keep in mind it does not take much of this product for even the largest beards and you really want to get it to your skin and no so much focus on making sure your whole beard is coated.

Expensive, not fully unscented
Beard oil is a really challenging product to buy. Somehow, there's a central group that's decided everything has to have a name referencing wildlife, logging, leather, barbecue or metalworking; ideally, all of them simultaneously. It also typically comes with over the top scents that are one step removed from Axe, and the marketing materials are draped with cringey photography implying your attractiveness to the opposite gender will improve. This product is somewhat of an improvement on the norm in several ways. The name (ManBeast) ticks the name box referencing wildlife, and the various scent names also riff on the usual themes with names like "Lion's Den", "Tradesman" and "Woodsman". But I really appreciate that their marketing at least leans heavily into the beard/mane/lion connection and steers mostly clear of anyone scantily clad or fawning over a model's beard - the only place I found romance as a selling point was in the slightly cringe description of the Tradesman scent on their web site. In general, a neutral approach focused on the actual product is unusual in this space and deserves recognition and applause. The actual product here is a pretty standard beard oil. I tested unscented because I'm typically very sensitive to fragrances in products, and while this doesn't have any _added_ fragrances, that shouldn't be interpreted as meaning the oil has no smell at all - it definitely has a vaguely oil-and-seed aroma that was noticeable for some time after application. I was really hoping unscented would mean no scent, and it really just means no extra perfumes.I noticed another review expressed concerns about allergies. I didn't see any ingredients on their web site listing that are tree nut-derived, just seed oils - which are typically products people turn to when there are allergy concerns. Definitely check for yourself, but they do seem forthcoming about the ingredient list, which I appreciate. Finally, the price... yeouch. Good beard oil costs money, but this is about 30-50% above the price point where I'd expect it to be for a container this size. That isn't necessarily disqualifying, but I'd have to be really in love to pay extra over other options, and I don't think that's where I landed with this.

I don't think this item is for me, but I'm going to keep trying it since it's actually kind of nice.
I've never been able to grow a full beard. I am one of those just 2mm or 3mm long facial hair guys you see in the supercuts hair example magazines. I was hoping this would help fill out my beard and at least take some of the spottiness out. However, washing my face everyday and applying oil a few times a day does NOT fit into my schedule/habits. I would like to make that a normal thing. That being said, I have no problem trying to fit this product into my lifestyle. There is zero scent--and I mean zero. It doesn't even smell like oil (maybe I have a bad sense of smell from "that" illness, I don't know). It goes on smoother and lighter than any moisturizer I've ever tried.I've never used beard oils before this and I kind of expected it to be like applying vegetable oil all over my face, or at least a great value brand face cream. This is much nicer than I expected. Maybe that's the norm for beard oils. Again, I don't know.If you're curious about them, I'd start with this and then maybe find a nice scented one if you really like the oil option.

Nut free?
I got this for my husband who has dry skin sometimes and has never had a beard oil. He applied it right out of the box and asked me what the smell was, which wasn't a great sign. I told him it was probably just the oils and he agreed. He said the faint smell went away pretty quickly. I love how it left his chin and beard super soft. He said the hair was noticeably softer even the next day. Here's my issue with this oil- it markets itself as nut free but it has seed oils that are related to nuts. I just don't appreciate using sales tactics like that. If you have nut related ingredients at all just don't use nut free as a selling point. If you know you don't have any allergies though, it's a decent beard oil.

Fantastic!
This beard oil has quickly become my new favorite! It does a fantastic job of moisturizing and softening my beard, noticeably better than the brand I was using before. I'm also impressed with the quality of the bottle and dropper – both feel well-made and work smoothly. The scent is very natural with a woodsy aroma. It's not overpowering, and the fragrance dissipates within an hour or so. A little bit of this oil goes a long way, so one bottle should last quite a while. I'm definitely planning on repurchasing this beard oil in the future.I've also noticed that since using this oil, my beard feels less tangled and easier to style. My skin underneath hasn't felt itchy or irritated either. All in all, this oil is a total win!

It has nut based ingredients!!
While it says it’s made entirely of seed oil, avocado and jojoba are tree nuts! These are apart of the cashew family and are allergenic to those allergic to tree nuts.

Not For Me
If you like beard oils this might be a good product for you. I have a beard and I've never tried beard oils so i thought it was about time to at least try it. I don't really know if that are as great as they claim. My beard had an okay smell to it after I used it but it didn't really make it much softer. Granted I only used this once because I didn't like having a faint smell coming from my beard. If you are someone who is into beard oils this might work good for you which is why I gave it 4 stars. It didn't make my beard any worse and maybe a little softer after one use. I found out I am someone who doesn't like beard oils.

LOVE Love love the aroma!
My guys very long facial hair was getting very dry in the winter.. this has been a game changer. After a nice washing this has become his goto beard oil. The scent is nice but not overwhelming, and the oil softened his beard without it feeling oily.
