Saved me hundreds of dollars
Through the magic of the internet I determined that this switch had failed on my washer, it seems that others have had to pay a service man upwards of $300 for a house call, parts, and labor to replace it.For a mere fraction of that, and less than an hour of my time, I was able to open the machine and replace the switch myself and my washer is as good as new!The one minor issue I had was that the protecting plastic tube that the the wires are contained in was a little longer (or perhaps the wires were a little shorter) than the original, so the connector didn't quite reach the connector. But a quick cut with a utility knife exposed a few more inches of wire and it was all good from there.

Works!
This product fit my Costco Kirkland washing machine (really a Whirlpool). Takes a while to figure out which of the many similar lid switch harnesses fits your machine. It is all dependent on the shape of the three prong plug that comes out of the lid. This product fits a D-O-D shaped plug (that is, the center plug is round and the end ones have one flat side - read your plug vertically, not horizontally and you will see the shape mentioned).Very helpful videos on YouTube about how to disassemble the washing machine and install the lid switch. Very easy to do.While you've got your machine pulled out for repairs - remember to change your inlet hoses at the same time - they only last a few years unless they are metal reinforced.

Saved my Washing Machine!
I was in the process of ordering parts for my newly acquired washing machine, and ended up breaking the switch in the process. I had already ordered another set of parts earlier in the day I ordered this switch -- they Pandora's was able to combine the order and get me all the parts I needed! Just saved me possibly a couple hundred dollars having a technician come & fix the washer! I am not the most mechanically inclined, but happily found videos showing how to tear down, repair, and reassemble. Pandora answered my email almost immediately, and had the parts on their way the following Monday - THANK YOU! I will look to Pandora if I need other parts! No shipping, and BEAT the pants off many other companies, again, THANK YOU!

What a great fix! Will fit Kenmore 23832100
With very slight mod it is a working match for Kenmore 23832100. Wires are longer and does not have the metal protector the above washer has. Simply remove the metal shield and put it on the new item. Use a little piece of the wire tubing for the extra length of wire and curl the remainder out of the way in corner. This was a great save for getting rid of the funky water inside. The old lid switch was indeed broken. I tried to post pictures but cannot. I will update if I am able.

Bought this instead of the Supco ES671 Lid Switch because ...
Bought this instead of the Supco ES671 Lid Switch because the ES247 was available for prime 2 day shipping and it was less money. I didn't care to wait 1 to 2 weeks for the other part. The pins in the connector of the ES247 are flat, where the pins in the ES671 are round. You will need to cut, swap, and solder the connector if you want to use this on a machine that that takes the ES671 switch. Other than the plug/connector, they are the same.

Bought this for a Kenmore 80 series Model 110.26892690 it works great. As mentioned by the seller this connector has flat pins and plugged in perfectly. Since this is not OEM the tube the wires run through was too long for my application, I simply replaced it with the existing one, it is slotted so it was not a problem. Working flawlessly.

Works great. Better than paying a pro.
This worked great for my washer. Fix took about 40 minutes but there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube. I imagine a pro would have taken about as long and I would have had to be there anyway. And I was quoted four times the cost of the part to get a pro to do it. So this is the way to go if you're a little bit handy.

It's ok... worth the few bucks
It worked well at first, but after while the tab sticking down to depress the switch didn't seem to want to reach all the way in anymore, leaving loads of laundry to smell like mildew when I came back from work. The fix was to tape a piece of plastic around the tab, extending it by 3 or 4 mm. I didn't want to go too far and break the switch, and this solution seems to work perfectly. I took off two stars because it worked 100% at first, then started to fade.
