These are well made and a great game for all ages. A very good deal. They are a little difficult to assemble because there is a very tight fit. I do not recommend breaking it down for storage, instead leave it assembled or it may become wobbly. It is well made and sturdy. I like that it comes with a plain game marker instead of a shot glass so that you can play with or with out taking shots. A regular shot glass will also fit well in the marker ladder.

At first, I was getting this for my 2 sons who are in college. We, adults, decided to give it a test run this past weekend at a friend's party and have decided we need to keep this one for ourselves. This was a load of fun; the more we played, the better it got. We have a ring toss game at home so we thought we had a leg up on everyone, but the smaller version really required more focus. No matter the age group, this is loads of fun. I think it can also be a great way to entertain smaller kids and it is very helpful for eye-hand coordination.

Note that some assembly is required. The rod did not fit perfectly and required some “hacks” before it would. Once I had the wooden pieces aligned (which took some force), I started using the screws and the bottom screw broke so it sticks out slightly. This is a pain since now I have to place something under it if I want to use it so it doesn’t scratch up my table. It’s fun to play but I probably wouldn’t gift it unless I was willing to assemble it for the person. It looks aesthetically pleasing in a minimalist environment!

"I got this for my dad for Christmas, and it was a big hit with the whole family once we set it up.The packaging was a bit banged up when it arrived, and the parts were just loose in the box, which worried me a bit. But it was nice that the screws and hooks were in a little bag.Putting it together was a bit of a pain. The main pole didn't want to fit properly, like the hole wasn't right. I had to work hard to get it in place, and I had to do some extra stuff like carving into the wood a bit and then pushing it into the base. But the rest of the assembly was easy, thanks to little holes that showed where to put the screws and hooks. The cords for the hoops could be adjusted, which was handy, and they stayed in place well.It took about 10 minutes to put together, which wasn't bad considering how much fun we had with it. We played with it all Christmas Eve. I definitely recommend it for family or friend gatherings, just be ready for a bit of a struggle putting it together.

We were looking for some fun, all-age-inclusive, inexpensive ideas for attendees to mess with at our grandson's 4th Birthday Party so we got this hdpiwka Ring Toss Game and were so glad we did! The object is to try to swing a tiny ring on a 6 inch string hanging from a horizontal crossbar piece of wood to have it catch a small hook mounted on an 8 or 9 inch vertical stationary post. We watched our guests as they entered the Party and noticed the toy on the table and it didn't take long and there was a line waiting to play it. It suited what we got it for perfectly. And it matters not the age of the players pitted against each other, either, as the game is pretty straightforward and simple and both players are pretty much on the same footing at the get-go with this game! We watched an 8 year old trounce a 69 year old, and a 6 year old's face beam as she pitted herself against her own self, finally hooking the ring after many tries against no opponent. It does take some level of patience (and can be a fun way to practice patience for anyone willing to stick with it to find success, lol) There are a few tactics we discovered that when employed do help to achieve success, but it did not disturb anyone whatever the skill level of the players.... everyone we saw playing with it had a good time. For the price, we really did not truthfully expect it to be any more sturdy than we found it to be, but it is made of nice finished wood and was perfectly stable for the use it received. It was very easy to assemble and made out of nice pieces of treated wood that held up well for the Party and will be used again for many more parties to come!

We have not had a game night yet to test this in that setting , but we have tried it out several times and find it to be fun and challenging. Easy to put together, and will be a great addition to game night.

Gave this to a buddy for Xmas, assembles in minutes and we were playing right away. The hook up rate was near zero even with game and technique adjustments, we quit and just drank the good old fashioned way. Love a good drinking game, but doubt this will be out often. No way to know if other set ups work better, but this one disappointed greatly.
