Genuine amazing product, all houses should have this
Our plumber told us our original stop cock was basically seized and that if we had a water emergency we would have been in trouble, now a simple flick of a switch to turn our water on and off.

Plumber recommended
Our plumber recommended we get one of these to resolve the problem of an inaccesible stopcock. Great purchase! It makes it so easy and convenient to switch off the water. We got the plumber to install it; was a quick job and looked like it was easy for him to do as well.

Does the job, some what..
I was looking for a way of shutting of a water supply without having to get to the stopcock and this seemed to do the job. A number of people have pointed out that the internal size is well below 22mm but I didn't consider that a big issue.Fitting was easy (If you know basic plumbing) and I didn't have any leaks from the connectors. The switch is a little strange but that is just the way it works with these. The biggest issue I have with this and why I gave it a low rating is because of how slow it is to stop my water. You would believe that it would stop water flow quickly but it takes mine a couple of minutes to completely shut off the supply. Not a big problem for normal stuff but in an emergency it would be truely useless.

Do not rely on this as only means of shutting of mains
This valve WILL leak eventually, so have a backup lever valve before it somewhere

22mm means 15mm
I had to return this as I ordered a 22mm version, but even without taking it out of the packet I could see it wasn't full bore. The connection may be 22mm, but that hardly matters. Given the 22mm is considerably more expensive, it's a bit of a swiz. If you're okay with a restricted flow you may as well get a 15mm one and a 22-15mm spigot. It gets three stars anyway, because I know they work.FWIW I ended up with a 22mm full bore ball valve and an electric actuator.
