I’d had a similar type of hair clip in the past that had trouble grasping the hair on the open side of the claw. I took a chance on this brand because of the reviews. I’m glad that I did. I have semi-thick curly wavy hair. This clip holds a large section firmly for a half up style. I haven’t tried to grab it all for a complete updo yet. The way it lays flat without the depth that the wings add on usual claw clip is appreciated. The slim profile will be nice especially for long rides as a passenger in a car or on a plane. Of course it’s why they’re favorites for yoga classes etc.It’s a classy looking clip, levels above the common claw clip with their metal spring elements showing. I would buy again. But I expect I won’t have to replace this one for a long time as this one seems very well made.

I have a lot of fine hair, and these clips are the absolute best for a quick updo. I initially bought them because they lie flat against your head and I could wear them for yoga. The material is more durable than any clips I’ve bought in stores- it’s lightweight and flexible, so it doesn’t break as easily. They feel great and never pull my hair, and they stay put. Best of all, they’re really nice looking and keep me looking polished even when I have no time!

I ordered several different types of clips from different manufacturers in an attempt to finally find some that look relatively sophisticated and tasteful; hold my fine, thin, wavy hair securely; and don’t snag, pull, or damage my hair. These are excellent—they do all those things. They’re also available in several different colors, so I’m going to buy a couple of others. They’re Just a little more pricey than typical drugstore clips, but they look better and seem well made so I expect them to last a longer. If you have normal to thick hair, you’ll probably find these clips too small to hold it all, although they might be useful if you plan to just pull part of your hair back.

This is a really pretty little clip.... I did imagine it being a bit larger to hold my hair up. It works...and I will continue learning it...and working with it. I do like it a lot... Maybe I'll look at this company for other clips they make too!

I love the parcelona "yoga" clips for pulling my hair up. They lie flat on your head, which I find more comfortable than your typical claw clip. The material they're made of is more flexible so they survive falls better than your standard acrylic clips. I got this smaller one for holding half of my hair up and it's the perfect size!

I have thin curly hair, shoulder length. Holds okay for a few hours, but definitely slips. I got this because I was hoping for a clip that would be more comfortable on the back of my head for driving. It does that well, but not for very long. If you're okay readjusting your hair every now and then, or if you have thicker hair, I'd recommend it. I did accidentally send this through the washing machine today and was surprised to find it completely undamaged. Bonus points for durability, but not as great as other clips at maintaining a secure hold.

So much more comfortable than a claw clip. Lightweight, but looks and feels nicer than most plastic clips. Plan to buy another one.

I love the design and the idea, but it just doesn't hold the hair very well, and my hair is really not that thick, I have to adjust it often.
