Amazed how well these grew!
Most of the seeds I planted grew. I transplanted some to the garden and some to medium pots. We have had quite a lot (although I don't know what is normal). I have 6-8 plants and feel this is about the right amount for the two of us and there have been enough to harvest every 3 to 7 days throughout August and September (now 19 September and still look like producing more), with a short period when we had to pick them and keep them in the fridge as we couldn't keep up! We eat them green, as that is how they normally are when you go out for tapas. I know it is only the odd one that is meant to be hot, but I had never had hot ones from the supermarket or eating out. We have had a higher than average number of hot ones, but also plenty of normal ones. They have been one of my greatest successes this year, and it's only my second year of growing vegetables. I will be ordering more seeds so I have fresh ones for 2022, although will still try with the ones I have left.

Love padrons. Love Franchi
The great thing about Franchi is you get so many more seeds for your money. Some sites are selling padron seeds in packets of ten. You need more because padron seeds are hard to germinate. If growing in the UK,I think it is really important to start these indoors at the beginning of March. If you leave it later, then you will struggle to enjoy mature fruiting plants. We grow them indoors and then transfer them to a small pop-up greenhouse until early June and then we plant them outside in full sun. They do brilliantly. The other year I could not source Franchi seeds and bought some other ones from a seller on Amazon. The seeds were not branded. The trouble was with c.10 plants, almost every pepper was really chilli hot and this is not how padron peppers should be. They should be gentle with the odd hot one thrown in for fun.

Not growing yet
I’ve planted these indoors, but can’t see any growth on them . Planed same time as tomatoes & aubergine which have sprouted already so not sure if they will still grow or not. Disappointing
