It is painted with a black and white paint which is slightly distressed (the paint is sanded and have a feel of imperfection to give this product some character). This is hand-crafted so there may be some slight variations in each piece. You can change it to the couples' name instead of the last name. Please notify me by either message to seller or convo immediately after purchase the last name (or couples name and year) Measures 8 x 11 inches.
