KIARA SKYLong Lasting Nail Dip Powder Red Tones 1 oz, Wine Not?

I was looking for a true red that was not too bright but not too dark either. Glamour 101 is perfect!

I’m not a fan of red but it’s growing on me. I bought it to have a different color for the holidays . It’s a beautiful red glitter .

This color is the perfect red!! It is very Christmas like red. So beautiful and pigmented. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase.

I love Kiara Sky dip powders. I often go 3 weeks with the same set. I have several of their dip powder colors, and use the 1-6 bottles to do a set. This red color “Danger” is the perfect red for spring and summer, but I’d honestly wear it in the fall and winter as well! I do a medium length almond shape on my nails, and 3 coats of the powder so it doesn’t break. 2 coats was still sheer on this color, if you like that, then add a 3rd layer of clear dip powder to keep the set sheer but strong.

I wanted a beautiful wine red dip color for fall without having to purchase a full color set and found this! The powder is super fine, comes in a large container so dipping is easy, and went on really well. The color was a little darker than I expected, but I came to love it and now I'm obsessed. It's bright red and sparkly in the sun and a lovely dark red wine in any other lighting. 5 stars.HOWEVER... 4-7 days later it's chipped on the tips of almost every nail. I wish I took a photo. I usually use GH dip colors and they would last without chipping for 10-18 days! I truly didn't even know dip powder could chip like this... I did 2 coats, next time I'll try 3. 2 stars on longevity. But man does that gorgeous color make it worth it!

I like how it turned out. It's a nice pigment. And it has a bit of glimmer. Beautiful color for fall 🍁.

I have been doing my own dip nails for about 6 months and I am EVEN MORE happy with them than when I used to pay almost 80 bucks for a dip powder manicure and regular pedicure at the salon! Don’t get me wrong love the salon and the pampering but this is so much more cost effective. I learned with a little time, practice, and patience the results are remarkable!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND starting with a clear base, dip about 2-3 times with the glitter and then incapsule (this will keep the glitter in place) then one final time dip your nails in a clear dip powder top coat, apply activator, buff, file, and then I apply another layer of activator, and lastly two coats of top coat. I typically do a natural color but splurge around the holidays and I was looking for a deep and slightly shimmery red. A base powder followed by two dips of this got me the color I was looking for. Sometimes the powders look different in the jar than on the nail, and red is so unforgiving compared to the natural dark pink I usually use, but the color is spot on for what I wanted.

I thought this was going to be a brown of some sort. its more of a dark red thats filled with bright sparkles. love it though.
