Corn and Nopal Tortillas

I've been doing lazy keto for almost 4 years (down 85lbs) and this is the ONLY proper tortilla alternative I've found that helps satisfy my craving for corn tortillas. I think because of the lack of gluten, the tortillas get very stiff if you just warm them up on a hot griddle as you would a regular corn tortilla. But I found if you coat the bottom of a pan with a tiny bit of oil, and warm them up that way, they remain soft. Excellent fried too - as tostadas or chips. I would probably not use these (or use them VERY sparingly) if I was doing strict/clean keto because they do still contain corn. Only 3 net carbs for two tortillas (8g carbs minus 5g fiber = 3g net carbs). Worth the cost too!

These taste great for being half the carbs of average corn tortillas! Hard shell tacos are back in rotation! Nacho chips are possible! Enchiladas are back in my life! Unbelievable. They taste the same just less sweet. They fry the same and bake the same. I noticed they won’t “crunch” unless fried more brown than golden. But I hate a chewy chip. They aren’t as floppy as all-corn tortillas but I think that’s even better because it makes them less fragile. If you want to use them straight away you should steam them a little for a few seconds in the microwave before piling on your toppings. If you’re frying them you won’t be disappointed. Imagine a restaurant quality chip... but bigger. They fry just like those! I just wish I could find these in stores in my area (Atlanta). Actually, if I’m wishing for stuff I wish I could find them on amazon at prime prices. Amazon? Do you hear me? For reference, I buy the 2-pack for (a little less than) $20. Yes, I am buying them again, it’s worth it to me.

A healthier version of corn tortillas. Cactus adds a nice variety to the diet, keeping things gluten free. The flavor is a bit different. Our big issue with these is that they are pretty brittle and dry. They did not work for soft tacos or enchiladas since the tortilla just broke in the middle in many places as you fold it. We ended up using them for homemade tortilla chips and they were great that way.

The tortilla was soft tasted just like a regular corn tortilla. Loved it!!!

We have ordered these tortillas in the past and LOVED them. Unfortunately, it seems the company has changed the formula to include more corn flour, thus causing higher carb counts. In the past, these were an excellent Keto alternative to traditional corn tortillas. The cactus blend fried up nicely and provided a near perfect substitute for low carb needs. Very sad to write this review. RIP cinco de mayo :(

This is the best tasting low carb corn tortilla I have tried. Makes great chips, enchiladas, taco and casseroles .. highly recommend

I would totally recommend, I reordered 2 more packs and I’ll continue to do so. These tortillas are delicious taste like a normal tortilla just slightly thinner. I’ve been able to make so many fun dishes because of these , because the are keto friendly. The shipping is high but you’re health is priceless! You would spend that same amount of money on an unhealthy meal with out questions asked .
