I have a really expensive pair of movable cosplay ears that are controlled by remote. I’ll tell you how these compare.As far as quality of the color and the designer of the ear itself, these are very comparable and look great. The fur is very nice well trimmed and have good color.The headband is very comfortable, not as sturdy as the more expensive set, but definitely solid. It fits very well, though the ears do sit up slightly on your head as shown in the pictures. That image is accurate.These do come in other colors and the ear covers would be switchable because they do come off. You would need to be able to 3D print the insert to do that though which is a little square.It would take most people hours to make something comparable to this.They work very well and are based on tilting the head back-and-forth or side side. That is the only control over them and how they move is up to the ears. You don’t really get control of that.Movement is smooth and fairly quiet. However, because you don’t get to control what the ears do sometimes they turn inward and it looks unnatural. This would not be a problem for most costumes. It’s just something I personally don’t like.The mechanics themselves work effectively, but they are a little flimsy, and there are spots where the tape is exposed and slightly sticky. This isn’t an issue for most people I don’t think. They would definitely be good for several uses before I would worry about a problem.Overall, they are great value when you compare them to the alternative at over $200.In summary, these are great use for a costume for like Halloween not if you were an actor and needed something more solid for longer-term.

My daughter loves these!!! They move differently which each type of head tilt or movement, creating an expressive look! Impressive!
