Q: I am looking to replace my advent heritage 8" speakers. they are dried out. are these the proper replacement ?

they worked great in my antique advent towers. OD dimension is about 7 7/8". also, if your grills need refinishing, the "simply spray" fabric dye has the grills looking like new too. i tried to refoam the advents, waste of time and money. Bill

The are 8 inch diameter speaker s. I thin 301 is smaller.
