The FMC is likeable and relatable, storyline is good and intriguing, drama, suspense, romance, no spice but still a good read!

Great book, I love this author from other series. This is possibly the best so far. Nail bitingly good, it has heart, great character building so far, finished it in two days.

This book starts with an intriguing storyline, the romance draws you in subtly. You’re begging for the main character to get with a certain someone. Cliff hanger ending, I can’t wait to see where the second ones goes !

This was a great start to the series, with a slow burn romance and love triangle between Ariyon, Fallon and Ayden.This book did break my heart a bit with what poor fallon endured an what you can see she will continue to. As the saying goes what doesn't kill you makes your stronger.Really well written captivating story, a great start to the journey, what a cliffhanger.

Fantastic read can't wait to read the next one, a slow burning story of twists love and friendship between characters, action and friendship between unexpected happenings through out wonderful story telling talented writer and depicts every single person with charismatic charm. Fantastic read!!

Attempting to master her magic and the joys of academy life, Fallon discovers her birth mother is still around and intent on causing havoc. Eden is her rock, helping her assimilate to her new life and supporting her through her curse of horrendous pain when touched, making the love triangle even more interesting.This is an amazing book written by an incredible author. A must buy! I can't wait for the rest of the series!

The start of the journey between Fallin, Arizona and Ayden and how can I forgot Wdwn. fallen is taken in by her adoptive father after being left as a baby. She knows nothing about her background and the dark magic that lies beneath. It is not until her father is seriously I’ll and she needs to get a healer from the guilted city that she finds out about her magic. The family is then forced to go the the academy where she needs to learn about her magic and how to control it. The rulers of the guilded city do not trust her and she needs to work with them. Can she learn how to control we magic and not be like her birth mother whom she finds out more about during the academy. Her mother is determined to bring her over to the dark side can she avoid the pressure? Her relationship with Ariyon and ayden becomes complicated when emotions and feelings come to light how can she pick bwtween them. We see the bestie relationship starting between fallon and Eden which is protective and stable this book is so easy to read and enjoyable and you start to like the characters and become invested in them. Wanting to know more about the background of the main characters.

I’m lost for words this book was EVERYTHING!! the pure beauty of this story was outstanding it was so unique I was enthralled and captivated from the start!This is a unique story that revolves around a young girl called Fallon she was cursed at birth with every slight touch she experiences pain with the exception of one……….My heart bled for Fallon the torment and pain she has had to endure her whole life is heartbreaking but despite what she has gone through she is an amazing person so sweet and kind. The way Leia describes her pain and the emotions she goes through I feel like I’m right there with her. I cried so much!The magical system was very cool with the east and west side. The characters along the way and the friendships formed warmed my heart.The sisterly connection she had with Eden was beautiful I’m so happy she had a friend she could trust.Ariyon who also has troubles of his own I enjoyed seeing his character grow and the beautiful connection him and Fallon had.A nice surprise was Yanric, Fallon’s awesome funny familiar. I wish I had my very own Yanric lol!I love how pure hearted Fallon is. She’s determined to prove everyone wrong. When you think everything is going good for her and she’s finally happy it comes crashing down! That ending what a twist!!Highly recommend to anyone who loves magic, slow burn romance, rollercoaster of emotions and self discovery with a strong willed FMC. 5⭐️

I inhaled this book in one setting. It was so fresh and exciting! I love the characters, especially Fallon. She's fiesty, loyal, amd determined to be a good person. I also loved the Princes! I can't wait to read the next one!

What a fantastic fluffy fantasy!! It was a lovely fast paced easy read but boy does it have some unexpected twists and what a cliffhanger ending! I had to buy book 2 immediately so I could find out what happened next.If you want to dip your toes into the fantasy genre but aren’t sure where to start this could be a great one for you. There isn’t too much excessive world building that it gets too complicated and the characters are all really likeable. I highly recommend giving this book a go!!
