Video Cam Great - User Guide Needs Work
The USB spy cam takes great video. The reason for my 4 star rating is that the instructions which come with the product are really confusing. The USB cam is made in China and the instructions are written in both Chinese and English, but the English interpretation must have been done by a Chinaman. Sometimes making sense of the steps for various camera functions i.e. changing modes from auto to motion detection, video resolution settings, and time/date function is hard to figure out or comprehend. I did the best I could, but it is really confusing. Someone with limited knowledge of opening, viewing, or editing files on a computer may get frustrated with trying to follow these set-up and use instructions. The video quality itself is great. The motion detection mode would be nice if the range was a little further out instead of about 9 feet or less. You can just leave it on the auto mode and it will record video 24/7 by over writing the oldest video files when the micro SD card gets full.

Setting time as per instructions is a joke.
As far as the video quality is concerned, it's great. My #1 complaint about this unit is the instructions. What a poor excuse for English. Setting the time is a guessing game as to what the writer was trying to say. I managed to set the time and date by changing the data file, but that was not always successful. Audio is very low, since the mic is against the outlet. Today I unplugged the unit to clear the SD card, and one of the power prongs ripped out of the unit. I put it back in, and it's OK. Motion sensing works great. I think I'll go for a better model next time, but if you don't need time and date stamp, or aren't concerned with sound, this is a good unit. As I said, the video quality and motion sensing are top notch.

Love This Gadget and accessories!
Just wanted to show everyone that it is totally worth to purchase it, and everything works as expected! The 32gb card already comes inserted in the camera which is supper helpful ! Its worth the Purchase,Hope This helps someone !

Not good, nope, not good at all.
I tried this recorder because the price was a little higher and the long warranty. The video quality is good, the sound is really good. The USB connector is no good. It rarely connects to the computer or charges. I had to peel the double stick taped on cover and pull the memory card and put it into a card reader to download the videos. When motion is initially detected the unit records for 5 minutes. If this recorder is used in a room with constant motion you won't get back to back 5 minute recordings. You get 5 minutes of recording then a random gap of 2 to 15 minutes before it begins to record again.

Does NOT loop record & No refund!!
The issues I have had are...the instructions are poor and difficult to understand and I can't get it to loop record.I have used it a couple weeks now and I am able to view the recordings; however, it has only recorded about an hour or so of actual footage and the SD card is full and does NOT loop record -- even though it says it will in the description.When connected to my laptop, I delete all the images from the SD card and attempt to get it to loop record once the card is empty and still no luck. I am using this item in addition to a security system, so the loop recording is important to me.**Just wanted to update my review and let people know that the company will NOT refund, even tho it does state that in the ad. They are now telling me I need to take it up with Amazon.

Not horrible for money spent.
Nice little camera, I had no problem with the instructions, my issue is with the motion detection, it doesn't work very well and the times it did turn on it records for 3 minutes but even with continued motion infront of it the recording stops, the continuous recording works very well, my other complaint is when you plug it in and unplug it you can see lights blink, overall not a bad product but it's also not really great either.

Very simple to use
So I tried it out with a 2 GB micro SD card and I could not get it to work at first until I realized you have to change it from "Motion Detection" to "Continuous record" and I got it work. I works good and I would recommend it to someone that needs to find out if their other is cheating or something along those lines. I will update this review as time goes on to see how the camera performs.

Doesn't record everytime
The camera seems to be choosey of when it wants to work. I don't know what I might have been doing wrong but sometimes the camera would record and most the other times there wouldn't be anything on the memory card even though I would test it in a room with people
