For my niece's birthday, I wanted to get her something to spark creativity. This fuse bead kit ended up being an amazing pick! As soon as she opened it, her eyes lit up at the assortment of colorful beads, pegboards, and accessories.Right away she started designing cute bead art animals and patterns from the guidebook. I love watching how focused and proud she gets creating her own beadwork designs. My sister said this kit has provided hours of hands-on fun away from screens!The quality and variety in this kit is incredible for the price. My niece especially loves making beaded hair clips, keychains, and jewelry for me, her mom, her sister and to show her friends. Such a great confidence builder for her age.For any child who loves arts, crafts, and DIY projects, I can't recommend this fuse bead set enough! It's an ideal gift to unlock their creativity and imagination through bead art. My niece adores this kit and always has new ideas to bead.

These are very small, hard for children to manage. Projects are not as durable as the as the larger size.

I love making little sprites. I've wanted to get some mini fuse beads for a while, and I'm thrilled that I've gotten to try a couple of sets this week. The accessories included in this kit are where this kit stands out from the other one that I tried, but I do prefer the larger boards that the other kit has.The beads in this set melt together well and look great. You definitely need to use precision tweezers to build with mini beads, this is NOT a craft for younger kids. Definitely start kids out with the 5mm regular beads, these are TINY and can be quite frustrating at times.I like that this set has a pattern book, my other kit did not. The Captain America sprite in my pictures is made from the included pattern book.I like that this set comes with four shaped boards, I just wish that they were bigger. I had to reposition my Captain America sprite three times, which was beyond annoying. I got spoiled by the jumbo boards that I was using from another set where you can start almost anywhere and not have to worry about running out of space. These boards you need to count your lines.For what you get, the price of $15.99 at the time of my review feels fair to me. I just paid about that price for a similar set of mini beads that didn't have any boards or accessories at a craft store last night. I would absolutely buy this kit with my own money.
