I have very frizzy hair especially in winter. This product really helps tame the frizz!

Yes it’s expensive, in my book anyway. Here’s my advice- I’ve use it twice now and for me I spray small amount, 1 pump, in my palms and gently smooth in the sections of hair. I can’t just spay in & comb through. My hair is grey, thin, and no volume. Frizzy of course. It’s an over load to directly spray on the hair. I like to apply it after shampoo, blow dry followed by an iron at 300 to 350. Lasts and works. Very nice and the closest I’ve come to a great smooth style. I think will I improve application it will be even better. Don’t think one way to apply for everyone is true. Hair is different for lots of us.

Takes care of freezies and doesn’t look slicked down.

I’ve been using this on my hair over a month now, in the heat, and I’m so impressed with it! Nothing has helped my Rosanna Rosannadanna hair until now! My hair is silky smooth from top to bottom. And, it’s shiny. I use it on damp hair and it truly works.I need more! Please bring it back!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I'll start with the good: It does what it claims. I used it to protect my hair while blow drying and afterwards, I found that my hair was definitely less frizzy and more shiny without feeling bogged down in product. The scent was pleasant, a bit floral but mostly neutral.I do however think that for the amount you get, the product is rather pricey. If you have thicker hair, you'll need multiple pumps to get enough product to be effective, and ultimately I didn't find it that much better than other heat protectant products.

I had this recommended to me and didn't think much of it. Let's be real it isn't the most lux packaging around. Right off the bat, it's advertised as unscented. It has scent. A lot of scent. It's a pleasant sort of fruity-floral. I shampooed and conditioned my 2C to 3A hair type and didn't put any additional products in to give this a more accurate review. My hair is pretty dry and while on the finer side, it's very frizzy. If I really work a blow dryer I can usually get away without a hair straightener, but it still tends to be "poufy." My hair is a few inches past my shoulders and the label said to use a small amount on the shafts and down to the ends. I spritzed (nice even mist) about 4 or 5 spritzes of product and combed it through. My hair seemed to dry a little faster than it typically does and when done it was straight and fairly sleek! It was much smoother than normal for when I only blow dry and even had a little bit of shine. It's soft and doesn't feel heavy, sticky, or greasy. I'm super impressed. I hope it continues to work this well because usually I need more products to get it to look about 2/3's as good as it does right now.

Ok, I noticed on the product listing that it says aerosol. It is not aerosol. It is, however, an aluminum can that I can recycle and recoup some of that $40 (at the time of review). So that's nice. Less plastic, only the spray pump is made of plastic. Nice! Also, the product listing states unscented. That would be a big fat lie. The product has quite a lot of scent, and it's rather nice, though it does fade with styling. On to the heat protectant. Yes, it works well as a heat protectant, but I honestly can't say that it works -that- well. It's rather oily, which is fine for my tinderbox dry hair, but I have learned not to use as much on the roots and parts of my hair that aren't quite so damaged. I just can't get with that price.

SRI Just De-Frizz Heat Protectant comes in a nice metal spray bottle. It was easy to use and get all over my hair. It is indeed floral scented, which I wasn't expecting.Performance wise, SRI Just De-Frizz Heat Protectant does work in smoothing frizz well. I was able to flat iron my hair and it looked shiny and sleek. It does add weight to my hair which my curls didn't like, so best this is just with heat styling.
