Bright and it's easy to change the color temperature.
The Sokply 4FT LED Shop Light offers a bright and efficient lighting solution for a range of spaces, making it a good choice for workshops, garages, basements, and more. One of the standout features of this LED shop light is its brightness, providing ample illumination for working in the garage or at your work bench. The light's energy-efficient LEDs helps keep energy consumption in check and can last a long time vs. incandescent or fluorescent lighting. A potential downside is the lack of compatibility with standard dimmer switches and the 0-10V dimming option isn’t as common place. You would need a 10V power supply, a potentiometer and the knowledge of how to wire it all up to make it viable. I will try to provide a simple wiring diagram if you need this option. You can also find a “0-10V Generator module” that is a little more straightforward to use, just search that term here. You would still need a suitable power supply if you use that option. The versatility of selectable color temperature and overall output via wattage settings are a strong point for this shop light, allowing users to choose the setup that best suits their needs. But it would be nice if the settings were selectable via a remote (along with dimming) rather than having to get access to the light, which may require a ladder.Pros:- Provides ample and bright lighting for various spaces.- Energy-efficient LED technology.- Suitable for workshops, garages, basements, and other areas.- Provides even and consistent illumination.- Versatile mounting options.- Color temperature and wattage settings can be selected to suit your needsCons:- Changing settings may require a ladder if ceiling mounted.- May not be compatible with normal dimmer switches.- May require professional installation for certain setups, such as the dimmer option. In terms of recommendation, the Sokply 4FT LED Shop Light is a decent lighting solution for a range of applications. Its bright and consistent illumination, coupled with the settings options, make it suitable for all workshops and other workspaces. While potential incompatibility with normal dimmer switches is a drawback, it doesn’t overshadow the overall benefits of this product. If you're in need of reliable, energy-efficient lighting for your work or hobby space, the Sokply 4FT LED Shop Light could be a great choice. Given its suitability for various environments, I would recommend this product for those seeking a flexible lighting solution.

Decent bright shop light
This light is bright, no doubt about that. The fixture itself it a bit on the thin side and is a little flimsy. I removed the LED bar in order to mount the fixture directly to some rafters in an attic space and I hard wired it as well. The different settings for the light color are nice depending on the use. I don't care for the fluorescent color but in a attic it gives the most light and that is what you need there. We will see how this holds up with time, use and being in the hot attic. I am not sure I can recommend this at the current price point which seems a bit high to me (realizing of course a lot of that has to do with the LED's). I'll update this review as and if needed.

Family Safe – UL electrical safety testing certification label
Family Safe – UL electrical safety testing certification label Safety First - The most important thing is that this LED Shop Light IS SAFE to use in your home. There is a UL electrical safety certification label shown on the fixture itself. Please see the attached photograph. For my moral values, to keep my family safe, and to keep your family safe, for my liability insurance requirements, and to keep my home owner’s insurance valid, I only use or install electrical safety tested and certified and labeled electrical products in my own home and in other people’s homes or businesses. These electrical safety ratings come from electrical product safety testing laboratories that are independent from the manufacturer. If you want your family to be safe and want your home owner’s insurance to remain valid you must only have electrical products that have passed strict outside laboratory safety testing.- I often buy light fixtures, or electrical products, or Lithium Ion Batteries on Amazon where the website description does not bother to mention the electrical safety testing certification. I just assume that I will receive a product that is safe for my family. I am always surprised and dismayed when the light fixture, or electrical product, or Lithium Battery DOES NOT have an electrical safety test certification label. - For my moral values, to keep my family safe, to keep other families safe, for my liability insurance requirements, and to keep my home owner’s insurance valid, I only use or install ETL or UL or CSA, or TUV, or Triangle VDE, or Diamond VSE electrical safety certified and labeled electrical products in my own home and in other people’s homes or businesses. These electrical safety certifications are provided by third party electrical product safety testing laboratories that are independent from the manufacturer. - The CE label IS NOT a certification of independent laboratory electrical safety testing. There is such an electrical safety certification label on the fixture itself. - Before installing an electrical device, the first thing an electrician does is to check for the electrical safety testing Laboratory Label Logo and Certification Listing number. - Ask your city’s electrical inspector if they will approve use of NON-safety certified and labeled electrical devices in your home; and then ask your professional licensed electrician if they will install UN-certified electrical devices; and then ask your home owner’s insurance agent if your home owner’s insurance will be valid if you install such NON-safety labeled electrical products. Of course, your home owner’s insurance agent will not inspect your home’s electric appliances until AFTER the fire, or electrocution, so that the insurance claim can be denied.

Price is high for what you get
Ok I'll start with the pros: Its bright! I would agree with the 6000 lumens since I've become accustomed to the 5000 lumen led shop lights from Honeywell, and this is brighter. The selectable color temperature is a nice feature but I prefer the 5000k temp so the other color temps don't mean anything to me. Its got a nice diffused light that can still pump out the brightness. Most LED shop lights are clear covers over led chips that are sharp to the eyes. Now the cons: It is not plug and play. It needs to be hardwired. I "fixed" this by taking an extension cord and clipped the outlets off, then stripped the wires and connected the wires to the nice wire connectors it comes with inside. The mounting holes are not distanced for 16" on center like all floor joist and rafters are built to. In order to use the dimmer function, you need a dimmer switch.Right now at the $50 price its selling for I can get 2 shop lights with linkable capability for under $40 at Sams. 1st and last light from this brand unless the price comes down.I hope that this information has been helpful to someone!
