Okay so this ring is very pretty - highly polished, designed with a very nice flame pattern, sturdy stainless steel, and very "easy to assemble" (by this I mean you "assemble" it by taking it out of the box!)But just know that you may not need it.A funny story: I saw this on Amazon when I was looking for something else in stainless steel and I thought, "Oh that looks cool, what's that?" What is a "Solo Stove"? So I fell into the rabbit hole of researching Solo Stoves (which I didn't own) so I could justify ordering a ring to elevate it (which I didn't need)... well, I ordered the ring first, and then I decided to order the Solo Stove to go with it. And Solo Stoves ARE pretty cool indeed. (I was in the market for a fire globe, so I'm not a total idiot - I was kinda looking for something kinda like this! Just didn't know that Solo was the one I needed.)So I spend my $700 for a really nice Solo Stove and stainless steel lid to go with this snazzy new stainless steel riser ring I ordered. I get this ring, and it's awesome. A couple days later I get the Solo Stove and it's awesome too... except that it COMES WITH a stainless steel riser ring!Granted, this ring is nicer than the one that comes with the Solo Stove, but just know that unless you're replacing the one you have that got dented-up or something, you don't need this. Or if you prefer the pretty flame pattern around this ring instead of the pedestrian round holes perforating the original ring...So like so many pretty things, you probably don't NEED this. But it sure is nice, and if you want it, then I highly recommend this one!
