Worth the trouble and the cost after all
Just received this hammer (finally). Head is hung off square giving it a "open hang" on one side and a "closed hang" on the other. Very disappointed because such a condition can make it dangerous to use because of the inaccuracy it creates if the hammer is flipped to the opposing striking surface. Had trouble getting it delivered because a signature was required for the delivery and my wife and I both work. Definitely not worth the money and frustration it took to get it into my hands. My advice is to go with Wilton instead.UPDATE: After a approximately 1 month of heavy use, I'm now bumping my rating from 2 to 4 stars. All the above is still should be considered, but the toughness, power, and seemingly indestructiblility of this hammer have impressed me. I still prefer the Wilton, but this hammer is a beast.2nd Edit: after months of hard use, I can now forgive completely all of the earlier complaints that I had. This hammer is a worthy edition to any tool box. Highly recommend.

HEAVY
HEAVY. I hit concrete pins all day. I ordered this to downsize from my 8 lb hammer. The 8 has a wooden handle. I didn't put this on a scale but I'm pretty sure this solid handle plus 6lb head is more than 8 lbs. Unbreakable is prol a great idea if your smashing stuff every once in a while, but for an all day every day hammer this thing is too heavy.

You’ll feel like Thor when you use it
Absolutely love it straightening out pieces of equipment in our shop was able to do it with minimal blues because of the heft of the hammer and I quite literally did feel like Thor while I was using it😄

So far a tough hammer
I bought this hammer to use with steel wedges to split oak. I've used it probably 5 times now for splitting wood and no problems---the head is still tight. I like the cushioning effect of the rubberized handle. While using it, I have not struck the hammer's handle on the oak, so I can't say how tough it is.

Best sledge I've ever owned.
As my title says, this sledge is spectacular. I'm a professional welder fabricator, and I've used this mostly for separating and straightening steel frames. The handle is very grippy, and absorbs majority of the impact. I'll be picking up a long handle 12lb the next time my fiber handle one breaks.

Will last till I retire I'm thinking.
Guys on the job was teasing me at 1st for the new shiny sledge. By the end of the day my lead guy ended up with it in his tool box. Time to buy another

Great sledge
I've missed the stake a couple of times and hit the handle, it takes a beating. It hasn't broke yet and it has no signs of breaking soon. I've been using it daily for 3 months, I'm expecting years out it. It's a lil heavier, I thought the 16 in handle was guna be a lil longer. The grip and feel is amazing compared to the plastic/wood handles.
