This is unlike any shapewear I have ever worn. It really does give you the shape you want without having to hot!!! I just have to get used to unhooking the bottom to use the ladies room :)

First and foremost, I bought 3 girdles from this company this month. So, while sifting through emails, I came upon an offer from ShaperQueen & SweetCherry Shapewear offering FREE shapewear in exchange for a review of this product. I love sales, discounts, and the word "FREE" even better, so I am more than happy to provide my honest review. I believe that I should get what I pay for. I thoroughly read through other customer reviews before making my purchase of the ShaperQueen Women Best Waist Cincher Girdle Belly Trainer Corset Body Shapewear. Many times you read over a review of an item such as a girdle, only to find out that the customer is referring/rating a cell phone charger.Over the years, I have purchased girdles/corsets/gut busters/stomach suckers... whatever you desire to call them. I found this girdle to be as described by both Shaper Queen, and also by many customers. I found the material to be soft, comfortable, breathable, stretchable, and forgiving to a certain degree (it is called a girdle/cincher for a reason). Wearing this girdle flattered my figure because it flattened and controlled my stomach area (I've had a few children), shaped my waist to give me an hourglass figure (which I haven't seen in a while or maybe not ever), smoothed my back area (some girdles will create 2 or 3 extra backs for you), and tamed bulges and sagging assets/liabilities (take your pick).I'm 5'6" and about 170 pounds. I ordered a large to get into things that are a tight squeeze and a medium for those items that require an even tighter squeeze. I find the girdle to be true to size. The girdle is very slimming and it does not roll up or down as I have found others to do. So at no time while wearing it did I have to excuse myself and head off to a restroom in utter disgust to make adjustments or shift from left to right in my seat to make an adjustment "incognito style".When putting on the garment know that it is snug as it should be, but once you get it on, on is where it will stay. I keep only the first and last hooks latched before gathering each side and then jumping up in the air a few times to get the girdle on (do what works for you; I never put it on straight out of the shower either - if you are a brave soul, have at it). I fasten the other hooks once I have the girdle on. What I discovered is that after I have the girdle on and every hook fastened together that I actually have flexibility to slightly adjust the hooked panel up or down over the pudgy area of my stomach.While wearing this girdle, I didn't experience circulation problems around the legs which has been a huge problem with other girdles in the past. This was a major factor in consideration of my purchase and what I sought out in customer comments in regards to this product. Oftentimes, girdles can dig into your skin, leaving deep grooves. If I wanted grooves, I could have just put rubber bands on each leg. This girdle didn't do that. It was light and comfortably stretched in the right places around my legs.The crotch area has 3 hooks making restroom visits easier (just don't wait until the last minute). Trying to hook the crotch area can take a little getting used to. The easiest way for me to accomplish the mission is to actually pull all the material back to expose only the eye/loop portion and then connect it with the hook. I always hook it on the loose set of 3 because the girdle fits snug on its own which really eliminates the need to make that portion fit tight.The first day I wore the girdle for about 5 or 6 hours on the tightest hook (tummy panel). When I took it off, it wasn't because it hurt, it wasn't because I felt that it was too restricting (I wasn't going to pass out), it wasn't because I felt uncomfortable. I would have to attribute it to me not being use to wearing one (if that makes sense). The next day I wore it on the tightest hook (tummy panel), all day long, and I forgot that I had it on.What I wanted hidden was hidden, and what I wanted accentuated was accentuated. This was an excellent purchase and I am very pleased. I would recommend it to anyone. low quality fabric, light shaping. My main issues are the construction quality. But for the price it does the job for daily wear. Its soft and breathable, the front corset portion does show under thinner body hugging fabrics, but great under pants etc. Over all, it works for daily wear, not a miracle worker. I will say I have a short torso and this hits right under my bra. Thats nice as usually they come up way too high. If you have a long torso, it may not work for ya. I wear a 14, ordered the xxl, I could size down, but rather not bother returning etc.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT for what it is designed for. This is a shaper, so it is obviously designed for those who are going to be wearing it under some sort of form fitting clothing, or at least something other than an over sized sweater that covers your butt and baggy sweats. Other wise, why would you need this product?! I wear a size 12 comfortably and could honestly wear a size 10. I bought the size large in this product. I am 5'8". This product was very short! Very!!!! I found that problematic. But that was the least of my troubles. I bought it to wear under a dress to wear to the theatre. It created the most horrendous back fat I have ever seen in my life. I didn't even know I had back fat. I had about a 3 inch roll of back fat hanging over the top of the back of the shaper. There was no way I could hide it or tuck it into the shaper or get away with wearing my dress. And that's not all! The underwear-type bottoms was the worst idea! Who decided this?! No one wants a panty line anymore, let alone one that cuts into your butt so fiercely that it creates a quad-butt that I didn't even know was a thing! I didn't even know my butt could crease like that! And the only way you could use the bathroom once it's on is to unbutton it in the crotch area. And, it's SO TIGHT that once you unbutton it, it's impossible to stretch the fabric back together and fasten it again. This product is well made but a HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, NIGHTMARE of a concept. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!

Shaper did what I expected.. front clasp make it easy to fasten... easily seen through material though and crouch is not that comfortable for long wear.
