The pieces that pull definitely should be bent on an angle so they grip the ends better without a chance to slip. kind of crazy they are 90 degrees, its like someone failed basic mechanics

I used the bow press on two personal compound bows that needed new strings and peep sights. My understanding is to turn the limbs so that the poundage is less than 60 and this tool works great. I am not a professional I'm just an enthusiast.

I used this product to change the strings on my bow. The product itself was very easy to use. I’d recommend using a socket wrench as it get’s tighter as that helps it to move easier, but it is not required. I’d buy it again. Way cheaper than a bow press.

Tried to use this on a Mathews V3. The fit didn’t work at all. Tried to use it as best I could but couldn’t get enough torque to pull the limbs. Couldn’t find any regular bow presses at a decent price so I tried this one. I will be returning and never purchasing again

I am a DIY person and hate paying money to someone I could do. Grab this for purchase of tuning bow and usually by used ones every few years. Sometimes it is a screw you need to change to adjust weight or length and need to compress the bow to do it. Probably won't save me enough instantly when I use it but by the 2nd or 3rd time I need to use this it will pay for itself.

The wire does not hold bow under load. Big safety problem.
