Straight up dissolves in water
So in fairness, they do work while they last. But seriously! The entire package didn't even last 8 square feet. I am not exaggerating or being unrealistic. I couldn't even get my top two steps clean. These things literally dissolve in water. I've never seen anything like it. I could have gotten more done with a bar of lava soap. They really need to put a warning on the label as to just how little these will actually cover. If anyone from the company sees this I really would like to understand how this can be considered a true scrubber being sold as an alternative to actual pummice stones. Get a real cleaner, ignore this nonsense....

Good on tile, OK on grout
Worked great on the tile, so-so on the grout (why I didn't give the full 5 stars). In fairness it had over a year of build up on a salt pool. Did tile line for the whole pool (30x10 ft.) and spa at the water line with one stone, with a sliver left for next time. Most of the build up is off, but a second go-round hopefully will knock it all off.No idea why some reviews say it dissolves: it's supposed to after application and so long as you don't keep it submerged it should happen before you use it.

That didn't last long
I really wanted to like these. When they arrived, i got right into the pool to start scrubbing algae stains. The brick did make it a little lighter, but the whole thing had dissolved in about five minutes. Then the residue of the brick was everywhere. I suppose if you have a very small area that is only slightly stained, this might be a good purchase, but I would have to buy hundreds of packs of these to do our pool. What works better is a pool cleaning mitt. It's faster and doesn't wear out.

Very Deceptive copy - cost 50% more than your local pool supply store!
I was disappointed when I received this product as the product description is not at all correct. The package contains three very small pool stones that combined are smaller than any single pool stone I have ever seen in a store. It is deceptive. Only after I received the product and was stunned at the TINY size did I notice the Q&A that said it was 9x4x3 for all three pieces. However, that is Not Correct either. The actual size is three pieces of 2x3x4 which when combined is 3x4x6 which is about 2/3 the size of the pool stone you can buy at your local pool puppy store. However it costs 50% more!! Very Deceptive.

Stones worked well on build up
We had about 6 months worth of build up thanks to our wonderful Arizona water. We purchased a couple boxes for less than $50.00 and used almost all of the stones to get our tile cleaned up. Worked great and was way cheaper than having someone come out and sand blast for hundreds of dollars. Our pool was installed last summer, so build up happens fast! I read the reviews on these before purchasing. Read one review that said only one stone was used on the entire pool to clean a 12 year build up. Definitely, not the case here. They work pretty well, but we plan on keeping up with the build up this time. Even if I spend $200.00 bucks a year cleaning it myself with these stones, it will be worth my time and money.

sub par
if you have hard calcium build up on tile, this product will eventually remove it but you will use up a lot of them and cost you a fortune. really wears out easily and requires a lot of time and effort. I have used better stones purchased at local pool store, unfortunately amazon does not sell good quality ones at all.

Goes away way too fast.
I needed to clean all the tile around our pool. I ordered one of the Pumice PB-80 Pool Bloks and these Pool Stones. I found that both blocks cleaned the tile the same way. But, these blocks 'melted' away at least 3 times faster. So, I paid $20 for 3 of these blocks and $8 for the PB-80 Blok and they cleaned the same amount of tile.I would get the PB-80 but even with them it will take 5 or more bloks to do the whole 100' of pool water line.

Great product and easy to use! Wear gloves
Great product! I tried using vinegar and a scrub brush on my pool and it didn’t work Ao I bought this and it worked perfectly! Very little scrubbing required to remove the scale deposits, although it was a little effort to get really in the cracks.Tip: wear gloves! My right hand looks like I scrubbed it with sandpaper for 10 min. Also, sorry for the 2nd pic being a bit dark, the sun was going down when I took it
