Seems cheaply made and is but I can fill this up and light it and watch and adjust flame for about 15 minutes and will run no problem for 12 + hours was gonna buy a second one but says unavailable. Seems like filling up it doesn't take much but lasts all night and then some. I can fill up about 8 times on 5 gallons. Love it

You get what you pay for. The wick would only burn on one side when the flue is in place. A suprisingly large flame comes through the screen, ( only on one side ) even at a low wick setting and deposits a large amount of carbon on the screen and under the central plate. For safety this must be removed with a wire brush before the next use. Taking the mesh top of the unit and observing the wick mechanism revealed that the mechanism is off center and thus part of the wick protrudes up higher that the other side. Trimming the wick does nothing to resolve the protruding flame and carbon production. Since I used fresh kerosene I know it is not contaminated. If there are any more suggestions to correct any of these problems I am out of luck, the bulk of the pamphlet is in Chinese. I intend to use this unit for the winter in my garage, far away from flammable materials and once the warm weather returns I will put it out in the trash where it belongs after properly draining and disabling the device.
