I used these on my ikea closet doors to avoid adding handles and they work awesome. I installed them at the base of the doors and can use my feet to tap open and close.

Using with a large wood door
I have a closet with 4 large 24X84 doors. This latch works great in that application. It allows the doors to have a very clean look with no pulls or handles. Be careful that you order the color you want since the default seems to be white.
