The reviews that said these were thin were not an exaggeration. Thankfully I took this into consideration when I bought them. I plan to wear mine under a blazer, and over a tank top of a similar color... I’ll update this review if they don’t hold up as they were just delivered yesterday.

After-washing update: still fits lovely. No tears. I just throw all my clothes together and “let er rip” so to speak, too, so if it holds up to my method it will hold up to someone whose better at laundry.I love it! Very light, soft, and fits well. A bit longer than I expected but that works just fine for me. I haven’t washed it yet so may leave another review after the results.

I am so pleased with this purchase. It's difficult at best to find a mock turtleneck with short sleeves that is the right thickness and most importantly has the right length. Based on reviews I sized up. I'm 5'8 and 175lbs. I am short waisted and so tend to carry most of my weight around my middleI usually were an XL and it was obviously clingy and fitted looking and I didn't want to stretch it,I've ordered snough child size Asian clothes parading as women's sizes and had to return them, which is so anti climatic and sad so I ordered an XXXL, and it fits perfect for me but I could have easily have worn an XXL I just love it the length stops well below my hips at the top of my legs. It is tunic length. The sleeves are shorter than regular but more than a cap sleeve it is extremely flattering

This top is a nice thin layering piece. I purchased it in ivory (really just a hint off-white) and you can see bra outlines through it, so its a layering piece for me; not sure how sheer the other colors are.The fabric is VERY soft and comfortable. The collar is only a little droopy due to the softness of the fabric, but generally fits snugly; the stretch in the fabric means that it is easy to put on. The obvious tag on the collar means that you can't turn it over like a typical turtleneck so you need to wear it scrunched.One downside I noticed is that I have to wear the shirt backwards otherwise the shoulder seams come down too far forward; turning it around (but now having the collar tag in front) solves this problem.All in all, 4 stars for comfort and price.

This is a SCRUNCH neck turtleneck top. It is not a RUCHED neck turtleneck top, which it looks like and can be easily be mistaken for. PRO: the neck piece and rest of the top are all one piece, so the neck piece can never separate from the rest of the top. CON: The top of a scrunch neck top is unhemmed. It is just turned in about one-half inch and sewed in two spots.

I love these tops! They fit great and the turtlenecks hold their shape and stay in place. I saw the comments on the thinness of the fabric and almost didn't buy. I'm so glad I went for it because now I have 3 of these tops with plans to buy more. The fabric is stretchy, like much of the fabric these days and thin. It isn't see-through however (at least not the dark colors that I own). It's a lot like tee shirts I have where if you hold your hand under you can see through, but when it's on there isn't any sheerness.The ordered a Large because I didn't want it tight and I love the fit. I'm so happy to have the option of a turtleneck in summer instead of tee's or tanks.

Having read multiple reviews suggesting these ran small, I ordered up a size and found this hung off me. Length seemed accurate, making this garment longer than the photos suggest.The neck is not sewn in separately as with most mock-turtlenecks, and it designed to scrunch rather than fold, with the tag placed for that. Material is lightweight and outlines everything beneath it; though the colour was lovely, it was already unravelling at one seam. I sent it back.

Soft and feminine. It is a perfect for layering or using as a liner under tunics and dresses. I like to wear it under a sleeveless button down shirt in the warm weather or as a liner under tunics or dresses to keep the tunics and dresses fresher longer. The neck is just right, not too tight and not too thick. This top is easily hand washed and drip dried or cleaned in the delicate cycle of your washing machine.
