Excellent waterproof properties, lightweight
Purchased over 1 year ago, have had opportunity to use multiple times now, no leaks, all contents remained dry, even on recent bike packing trip with heavy and frequent rain. Highly recommend for hiking/camping to keep important items dry. Can use for e.g. clothing, sleeping bag. Quality feels good, as is lightweight doesn't feel durable but use suggests otherwise - no tears/holes.

Best ones i've had
These are very very lightweight, and anything inside them, for me, has always stayed dry, even if they aren't the top IPX rating.Being so lightweight but also very pliable, they can be squashed into any bag as becessary. They are also stronger than they appear. I've definitely pushed the seam strength with coats etc, and the bag is still fineThey may cost a little more but the cost is worth it. You can just use them straightaway. I purchased a smaller 2l drysack of a different company from a store, and it smelled like a stale toilet the second i opened the bag. Even after a month, i still won't use it. Osprey drysacks have never had this issue

Lightweight and very durable
I bought this 12L and 6L sack and just walked the Camino Santiago with them (40 some odd days of backpacking). Both have been incredibly durable (no marks or scratched or any signs of damage to the rip-stop fabric (something previous Exped drybags suffered from quite quickly while backpacking) despite regular exposure to other contents / possible sharp edges. They were super lightweight, much lighter than past bags I've had. I didn't completely test their dry-keeping qualities in fairness but do recall carrying wet laundry in them inside the main bag and nothing adjacent got wet. I used the 6L the most - filling it to ts full capacity made it fit really neatly flat into the base of my 32L Osprey pack the rectangle base shape makes it a good shape(when filled soildly) to filling available space better than an round/oval would as well as also being versatile enough to squish into different shapes when less filled. The 12L was less used but it was great to be able to squish it right down when I only needed to store one or two things in it and it fit large unsquished laundry in it well for carrying using the clip top as a handle, a big like a grocery bag. The plastic fastener was of good quality and is durable but on occasion was prone to misaligning (could break if forced/ you don't notice) and the 12L one had an annoying habit of folding one of the clips inward, getting trapped in the roll top as you rolled it down, meaning you've have to re-do it and hold it out of the way before the first roll. I have past bags that have a slightly wider roll tab width at the top which I think I prefer, it feels more secure on waterproofing and easier to roll down turn by turn but it's a minor point and it didn't affect function. The small hanging loop on the base is also a great touch, though I can't say I used / found a use for it other than lifting out from the bottom of my pack. Great product, will buy more, will consider buying an 8L or 10L if they do one.

Brilliant bit of kit
Class bit of kit and fits so much more in it that you’d expect.

Great for travelling
I travel a lot for work often get drenched at work or sweaty and dirty and I got this to use as a laundry bag so I’m my suitcase my dirty washing doesn’t mess up my clean for this purpose it is ideal. When you aren’t using it it takes up no space at all I’m your bag and the way it closes up gives you a great handle to carry it with. Cleaning it is so easy I normally just take it in the shower with me. I haven’t used it to keep stuff dry but I have used it as a sort up bucket to move water and I’ve filled it up to the max with water and it doesn’t leak but as it’s quite thin you have to be careful handling it. I say this as I know some people use water bags to workout when they are travelling and this wouldn’t work well for this

Great Product - Buy at the right price! 😁
Excellent product, bought to compress a quilt jacket, picked the Tropic Teal colour because the price was £5.99. Material has stood up to six months use, very happy with my purchase. Recently purchased two more Orange versions, again due to availability and patience on my part; waited until the price was £7, made another purchase within a day due to a further reduction @ £5.59.Last two purchases are going to be used for compressing food for wild camping; house trials have confirmed my faith in the quality of this product. A very effective way of organising items in my rucksack, the small additional weight not an issue.

Disappointing. Not waterproof
I was disappointed in this dry bag from osprey. It’s all very well having a waterproof, but of limited use if the bottom of the bag isnt waterproof! You can tell straight off by filling the bag, rolling it up and squeezing it. Listen to the air escaping. Now I know that strictly speaking in the weaselly product description words, it only says that the roll top is waterproof. But I was taken in by the osprey name and the appearance of the product.A shame for osprey to dilute their brand like this as their rucksacks are very good.
