Our 1 year old loves it
This is a nice wooden toy that’s good quality and comes with lovely colours and depictions. Our baby enjoys playing with it. The locks are good quality and I anticipate it will last as long as he wants it. Would buy again. It’s suitable for older babies as well as our 1 year old but doesn’t come with anything that is dangerous for him so we are happy for him to play with it. It’s a good size for playing in the floor but also could be mounted in the wall if needed!

Well made and entertaining.
My daughter loves anything farm related and she loved this wooden toy. It's really well made and sturdy. The locks are easy to open for small children and have cute pictures of farm animals inside. It's also really good to help with counting and each door has a number which corresponds with how much of the animals are in each lock. We loves wooden toys and this one is built to last and will definately be passed onto future children and looks really lovely on display on our toy rotation shelf.

Fantastic for the child's developing fine motor skills, coordination and concentration.
My 19 month old granddaughter loves it! 🩷This Janod farm lock activity board is a lovely way to challenge younger children to work out how to unlock the different latches and locks. They will enjoy discovering what is hiding behind each of the doors, improving fine motor and hand-eye coordination skills opening each door with the added bonus of colours, animals and numbers. 5 fun doors to unlock. It's a must buy Christmas present for busy little ones who enjoy unlocking doors when they shouldn't. I tend to keep my front and back doors on a safety catch with keys removed because my precious little cheeky girl is too tempted by them.Very well constructed. Made from smooth sanded wood with good quality latches, locks and a padlock and key.

Nice toy
This is a nice colourful toy with five different types of locks for children to practice their fine motor skills.I like that there's a recognisable farm theme to the board with relevant farms animals hiding behind the door. The board is well made and the wood is smooth. I associate Janod as being a really high quality brand, but I didn't think in this case that the quality rises high above its competitors. There's nothing wrong with it, it just doesn't feel super luxury. The fixtures all work well. I like that the key for the padlock is attached, however the padlock itself can be removed and therefore may get lost. It's also incredibly heavy, and should probably be a bit lighter.Overall this is a good example of one of these boards.

Janod Farm Lock Activity Board-5 Types of Fasteners-FSC Wooden Toy-3 Years +, J07119, Multicolor
This is great for kids and their eye to hand coordination. Plenty of things for their little hands to do which will keep them very active.I love the number of lock type thiungs to play with. Nice bright colours.Going to give this a solid 5-5. It's well deserved.

Well made, solid puzzle
The media could not be loaded. It seems very popular to teach children a whole variety of different switches, locks and fastenings…and I can see the benefits. Our two and a half year old loves fiddling with puzzles like this. With this ‘lock’ style, part of me wonders if we’re just encouraging toddlers to get to the bleach or escape out of the front door…but, that aside the puzzle itself is sturdy and well made. It has a good selection of different catches and locks to help your child with dexterity and hand eye co-ordination.The pictures and numbers are a little disappointing in my opinion because I feel children should learn to read from left to right and these numbered doors start with ‘1’ in the top right corner and work clockwise around the board. I also think it would have been more educational to have had the parent animal near each door as a clue to the young inside, instead this is just random.I’m not sure that language is a main benefit as instructions say it’s for over 3 years only (for small parts I’m sure so fine if supervised) and children usually have a good animal vocabulary by 3 years old.It will be enjoyed though as children do love taking things apart and ‘fiddling’ with keys etc.

Good toy
Well this toy was a hit with our 2½ year old boy. He enjoyed exploring the different lock types. These locks all work well. The board is well made and the illustrations are engaging.I've given it 4 stars rather than 5 as it's quite a big toy and I don't think it has longevity i.e. I can't see him playing with it loads as the novelty will wear off.
