I have had this for 4 years and have used it on about 6 shoots. It is lightweight and easy to extend and collapse quickly. Came in a nice zipped case. Quiet, no creaking. A bit flexi at full extension. I was very happy until on a shoot where the actor had a hypodermic needle in his hand, it broke at the bottom joint. Fortunately no one was hurt, or there could have been serious consequences. I won't be buying another one of these!

Wasn't sure what to expect for the money (£55 Black Friday deal) but it's light, works well and I haven't had any issues on set just yet. Tightening mechanisms have held up for far (few weeks usage). Also includes a carry bag which is really useful.UPDATE: After a few months of useage the rubber grips on the twist-locks has started to loosen/stretch. Not a deal-breaker but definitely annoying as they'll eventually break and need re-gripping somehow.Not good for heavier blimps at full extension as there's flex which makes me believe it will crack/break eventually. Light/medium blimps should be fine however.

Well made and attractive boom pole. The middle is hollow so you can fit your own cable inside rather than having to tape it on the outside. Congress with a great carry case.

Use this in preference to my apparently pro level pole.
