Needed to replace downlights which were fitted 10 years ago. My wife used to complain that they were not bright enough. These new ones are much brighter and do the job. Reasonably easy to fit as they matched the hole size of the old ones. Within the scope of most DIYers. Paired with a trailing edge LED dimer switch and now have controllable brightness. Very pleased.

Ordered the Wondlumi LED Recessed Ceiling Lights for a hall project – basically to light up the hall from the rooms leading off it to the lobby with two in there as well and it has turned out well. The 6 lights are delivered in a branded outer cardboard box which contains a further three plain white cardboard boxes each containing two LED light fittings and two terminal blocks with 2 possible connections. The light fittings have a twin cable suitably coloured for live and neutral and a further yellow/green earth cable which is connected to a post on the rear of the fitting. The most surprising thing about these lights however is their depth, previous downlights have had a chassis in the ceiling that was between 60-80mm but these are an ultra slim 33mm at the deepest point. Fitting is a doddle – their small size means that only a small hole saw is needed – all the details are presented on the side of the box and on the instruction leaflet in English and German, but a 65-85mm hole is recommended by that documentation. Connecting the lights was super east too and fitting them into the ceiling likewise with one proviso, do not bend the spring back too far or the part that latches on the light fitting lug will spring out and it is a devil of a job to get it back behind the lug. I did manage but wouldn’t recommend you try so care needed.Once fitted they do look nice – rather contemporary with the black finish & warm light presentation. I also like the fact that unlike many adjustable downlights these are sealed – no no draught comes through the hole behind the fitting in the ceiling space – which can be considerable if you don’t have any insulation in that area. Overall very pleased with them, and it will be interesting to see how long they function for – it is a pity about that clip mechanism, though as it costs the product a point.

On opening the package these lights seemed just the ticket, well packed and with everything needed for the installation. It went down hill rapidly from there. After removing one of the lights I moved the sprung loaded calipers that hold it in place in the ceiling and the bracket holding the spring , being very soft metal, distorted and the spring came off and it was impossible to re-attach . I tried three more and exactly the same happened. So, I am returning them

These lights really brightened up the kitchen because they're 10 watt, which is twice the power of standard GU10 lights.Fitting them was a pain: The spring clips fly off when you compress them enough to get the light into the ceiling. Eventually I found that I could largely overcome the problem by bending the brackets back against the light. They are still quite delicate but at least they're in and working.I'm an electrician so I've fitted thousands of downlights over the years - never had this issue with any other brands.I just hope they last!

Although LED downlights are supposed to last for an exceedingly long time, 2 of 6 fitted (not this brand or model) during a bathroom refurbishment just 3 ½ years ago have failed already (gone on the blink – not just a colloquial phrase this time, but actually brinking off & on after they had heated up when lit for a long time. I therefore got the lights to replace them, not wanting more of the same type.Luckily, these Wondlumi downlights fitted in the ceiling holes vacated by the previous lights (2 of which I am fitting above the workbench in my garage - with 2 available as spares!) & they were very easy to fit. Being 10W LED, equivalent to 90W halogen light output), they are brighter than those they replaced. At present at least, they are controlled by a simple on/off switch, no dimmer, but we are not given to dimming bathroom lights. Indeed the brighter lights are welcomed by me, because the inbuilt cabinet light at the mirror above the sink is not really bright enough for shaving.So far, these Wondlumi downlights have been utterly reliable.

Excellent ceiling lights that are power efficient, provide good light output and are very well made! Easy to install and would recommend

I’m a registered electrician , I’ve been installing lights for years . I thought I’d give these a try , they look nice reasonably cheap the light level is good. But the quality is super poor .Of 22 lights installed 8 of them broke with the installation springs snapping . Despite being ginger with them after the first one broke . I had to use silicone to install the broken ones !Summery ! good and bad … just buy some silicone you WILL need it .

Die Leuchte sieht wertig aus, aber die Befestigungsclips sind ein Desaster. Um die Leuchten in das Bohrloch zu bringen, muss man die Clips senkrecht stellen, dabei springen sie sofort aus der Halterung am Lampenkörper, egal was man versucht.UPDATE: Der Verkäufer hat sehr schnell Ersatz geschickt, bei dem erkennbar andere Federn montiert sind, die nun nicht mehr herausspringen. Daher jetzt fünf Sterne.

Die Einbauspangen sind wirklich eine Katastrophe. Bei einem 68mm Bohrloch ist es fast unmöglich die Leuchten anzubringen.Ansonsten vom Aussehen her super jedoch vom Gefühl her etwas schwach. Weiß nicht ob das wirklich 840lm sind.Update: Der Kundendienst hat sich umgehend bei mir gemeldet und hat mir neue Leuchten zugeschickt. Hier sind die Einbauspangen nun verbessert. Deshalb nun 4Sterne.

Die Strahler sind leicht anzuschließen und haben eine schöne Lichtfarbe. Perfekter KundensupportDanke

Eigentlich ein gutes Produkt vom Aussehen und der Helligkeit her. Der Einbau ist sehr schwierig, da die Federhalter sehr dünn und instabil sind und die Feder auseinander springt bevor man den Einbaustrahler in der Decke hat. Ein größeres störendes Problem ist, dass alle Einbaustrahler nach einiger Zeit wenn sie an sind anfangen zu klacken. Da es immer seine Zeit dauert vermute ich, dass es daran liegt, dass sich die Spots zu stark erwärmen und das Geräusch dann irgendwann eintritt. Ich habe dem Verkäufer das Problem per E-Mail geschildert, aber ich erhalte keine Rückmeldung..
