Multi purpose GREAT TASTING whey protein.
This is a review of the Natures Best Isopure Natural Chocolate 3 pound tub.My mom had to use this before and just after her gastric bypass surgery. I have never been able to use whey protein, it always left me with undesired GI side effects. I got hungry and was running out the door, and she suggested I try this "shake"I was in such a hurry I took a larger jelly jar, added a scoop to about a cup of water, and shook it as I ran out the door.A serving is TWO SCOOPS, but because I didn't know how it would affect me, I only did ONE scoop to start.I hoped it wouldn't upset my stomach, but I was so hungry at that point I didn't care (side effects for other whey products often didn't till later anyway)First was texture, NOT grainy at all, and all I did was shake it a few seconds in water.Second was taste, it tasted great, reminded me of a more chocolately tasting YooHoo.Third, STOPPED HUNGER, and held me for about 3-4 hours comfortably.Fourth, is it is not flavored with artificial sweeteners. I hate those chemically tasting fake sweeteners. This product uses NO artificial sweeteners.Fifth, this product is nutritionally fortified, not only filling, it is REALLY good for you :)Sixth, compared to other mixes, this one is really NOT that expensive, and is MUCH cheaper than premade shakes.Seventh, STORAGE is easy, on the shelf, no refrigeration needed till after you mix it, and then it is so yummy you won't have any left over, but if you do, then it should be refrigerated if it is in its liquid form. But dry as purchased, it takes up LESS room, great for a renter like me who has limited shelf space and only a tiny fridge.AND, THE BEST PART, NO STOMACH UPSET AT ALL. I use this now when I need a quick snack or breakfast. If I am using it for a snack I use one scoop and I know I can go comfortably for about 3 to 4 hours. If I use two scoops, I count it as a meal and can go about 5 to 6 hours comfortably, the protein keeps me from getting hunger pains.

It's ok
This doesn't taste terrible but the chocolate flavor is weak. I use it as a base and add pb, banana, coffe pdr and cocoa pdr.

Really amazing LOW Carb and LOW Sugar
I was looking for a low carb, low sugar, high protein mix. I am trying a keto-vore diet and this still fits the Keto version in my opinion. It tastes like a yummy chocolate milk. I mix mine with half and half and whipping cream and drink it as a meal. it doesn't clump like a lot of protein powders, mixes really easily. It is kind of expensive for the amount you get, but for the nutritional value I'm happy.

Great taste and mixes well - try soy milk!
This mix is a TREAT. I can't go back to trying any other protein shakes, when I do I feel like barfing. Some reviewers complain that it doesn't taste that great:Try mixing with soy milk. Seriously, it tastes TOTALLY different than when mixing with water or regular milk, I've tried it all. It adds a silky texture and fuller flavor with a hint of maple for some reason. If you're still not convinced, you're probably one of those people that snacks on sweets and adds salt to their food without even trying it first. Your palate is blown. Time to retrain yourself. To give you an idea, I don't even use dressing on my salad anymore. Some reviewers complain that it doesn't mix well:If you use a blender or shaker cup it will mix well. If you use a spoon and stir, it will take longer and not mix quite as well. What I find is that if you let it sit for a while (a few minutes) it will eventually melt itself into the liquid and get smoother on its own. Personally I also enjoy chewing on the little powder bubbles because it tastes so good.Others have noted this as well: one serving is 50 grams of protein. If you look at most other protein mixes out there, one serving is around 25 to 30 grams. I usually take one scoop (25 grams) at a time, twice per day. Your needs may vary depending on your goals and normal protein intake. Your body can only absorb so much protein at one time, so spread it out. Remember that if you use milk or soy milk you're getting extra protein there as well.I really look forward to drinking this every morning and after my workouts.
