I tend to do a lot of walking and as I'm hitting older I find I can get a bit sluggish now. I'm not a fan of the can-based energy drinks so thought I'd give these a try. My doctor has also advised me to reduce my caffeine intake, so these tablets tick that box as they are caffeine-free.There's 18 tablets in a tube with a dose recommendation of 2 tablets. It may seem expensive to buy a tube that provides 9 doses, but compare that to the cost of caffeine loaded energy drinks.The taste is good, without being overly chalky and don't leave a nasty after taste. I do feel that they've helped when taken a little before a long walk.

Id never tried glucose tablets before and I couldn't stand the taste of these the first time I tried them, I would have just gotten rid of them but I needed to write a review. When I eventually worked up the courage to try them again they weren't as bad as I remembered, I can't really describe what it is but theres a weird taste underneath the raspberry flavour that I just really dislike. Energy wise I do feel like they perked me up a bit but no more so than a coffee or a berocca. I'd probably only really want to use these in an emergency, but the NHS website suggests a lot of tastier sounding choices for people prone to hypoglycemia which sound preferable to eating 5 of these (normal recommended portion is 2 tablets).

I've used these to give a little energy boost during my extended cycle rides. They're a great alternative to carrying a couple of bananas with me. The tube fits perfectly into the pockets at the back of my cycling shirt and is relatively sweat proof, thus preserving the contents. The tablets taste good (mine were raspberry) and dissolved slowly in the mouth. When chewed they were a little chalky, so better to suck them. With regards to the energy boost? Well I didn't need my usual banana energy 'top up', so they must have helped! As for the added vitimins and minerals; its difficult to assess the effects without a full scientific evaluation, so I just accept they may be doing me some good!

It is CAFFEINE FREE so nothing to do with it.Tested it when was really tired and in normal conditions I would drink coffee to get alive.Tested it before high intense workout to see any result.In bot situation it worked.In first it was only temporary for around 2h. - So I should take another two or go drink coffee.In second didn't feel much difference doing workout, but after wasn't tired and sleepy.So in my testing it works better when mixed it with exercises.Tablets are pretty big, flavor is not bad. Takes bit time to chew it till finishing.What if they are used as daily basic or more then 2 daily. Does it still will works and helps or body get use to it and it will be over.

These seem extremely expensive considering what they consist of. Simple, much cheaper, glucose tablets would work just as well for an energy boost and a decent diet would provide better health benefits.
