RegattaSplosh III Fleece Lined Waterproof All-in-one suit (Peony, 18-24 months)

This is an absolutely essential bit of kit for nursery or forest school and for outdoor activities during autumn/winter.It is insulated throughout and has soft fleece lining to the hood and back. It is not too bulky so is comfortable to wear and easy to move around in. There’s room for layers underneath but in winter, we tend to put a coat on top as well. I wouldn’t expect this to be sufficient on its own on a really freezing winter’s day. The level of waterproof protection is sufficient for being outside in rain but I think sitting in an actual puddle, you’d end up getting wet! This means that the suit still feels soft and moves easily whilst offering sufficient waterproofing for time outdoors.The hood stays up well, all the cuffs are elasticated and the zip runs the full length, down one leg. The leg cuffs will fit inside wellies and generally stay put.We’ve had a similar one before (different colour) and eventually one leg seam ripped but it had been used daily, for nearly nine months at forest school and when the children were outside for most of their day so I was satisfied that it represents very good value.I have a tall three year old girl who fits perfectly in a 36-48 months, with room to grow. I would say for the majority of children, the sizing by age will be correct.This copes really well with being machine washed and dries out quickly ready to go back in the nursery bag!

I initially bought this for my son when he was a toddler. I then jumped on and got it upto the biggest size so he would always have this puddlesuit until he's too big. I have now got it for my nephew as it was so good and lasted really well. Jumping in massive puddles and walk out dry. Warm and comfy! My son and nephew love them! Highly recommended 👌

Light weight but fleece lined and warm for child. Really good quality and comfortable on child.

I would rate 6 stars if I could. Light and warm. Keeps everything dry and clean. Absolutely perfect! I was a bit worried about the colour (I didn't like the purple on the pics) but it's totally unisex and lovely.

Great suit

We have used Regatta splash suits for our girls in the past and found them brilliant, really durable, look great and kept the bad weather at bay. Our one girl has gone through the 1.1m height range now so purchased another. Being athletic build the suit fits really well with some room to spare around the tummy and legs and the usual stitching quality seems even better. One thing we noted was the thickness feels thicker so go for winter, I would compare to a 2.5 - 4.5 tog quilt. We tried during that last few UK storms (Ellen and Francis ) down on the coast and again kept our girl really happy. The colour looks bright and visible especially at night so another big plus for us.The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the surface texture feels slightly softer so potentially more vulnerable to rips and punctures but only time will tell.We have recommended this suit to friend and family with confidence.

Perfect for wet muddy cooler walks as slightly quilted so will keep little 1 warm but can also add layers if really cold
