Dogs

My 18 month old Nephew LOVES dogs. Sometimes the easiest way to keep him distracted is to show him pictures of dogs so I thought what better than to get him a picture book with lots of dogs. This book was perfect. I got it as a board book edition as those with young children know, are harder to destroy than paper. Its a very simple and easy story to read and the pictures are nice and colourful. A definite favourite in his home library!

Bought this for a friend’s little girl and she LOVES IT!! Her parents have to read it to her every day! Super little toy dog comes with it too.

My son loves this book, the pictures in it are very cute and he enjoys having the story read to him. It's a nice study cardboard book too.

This book arrived quickly and was in reasonable condition, an old library book. But was very useable for me as it's for me to read to my small grandchildren.

I protagonisti del libro sono cani di ogni aspetto e dagli atteggiamenti più svariati, raffrontati in modo opposto (es. grande-piccolo, trasandato-elegante, buono-cattivo...). Il finale è sorprendente dato che vi è un inaspettato narratore!I cani sono disegnati molto bene e sono resi buffi dalle loro espressioni. Il testo è essenziale e consiglio l'acquisto di questo libro in formato cartonato, più adatto ai piccolissimi.

Conoscevo già il libro, era stato regalato a mia figlia e lo adorava. Lo abbiamo perso e l'ho dovuto sostituire. Cercavo l'edizione più recente flessibile ma, come dice l'inserzione, il libro si trova solo usato e cartonato (immagino sia la primissima edizione). Sono comunque soddisfatta: è arrivato direttamente dall'Inghilterra in brevissimo tempo.

We received this book as a gift and is now one of our go-to gifts to give. Excellent book for the little ones. Littlest pays attention to it, good for the pre-readers to memorize and "read" and great for an early reader too (we have one of each, haha!)

El libro tiene unas ilustraciones bonitas y un texto sencillo, corto y divertido. El papel, sin embargo, es de calidad pero fino. Hubiera preferido el típico formato de cartón más compacto para niños más pequeños, y pensé que era el que había elegido (error mío, "tapa dura"), pero se ve que el formato de cartón, disponible en UK, no lo está en España. Por lo demás, me gusta

I picked up this book for a friend's daughter and was contemplating getting one for my daughter too. But, when the book arrived, I thought it was perfect for 1-2 yo... It works best when they are just picking up their vocab and hence they will love all the new words in here.

At 15 months, my daughter is too young to understand the words but she loves looking at all the dogs. I’m waiting for her to grow up a little so that I can reintroduce the book to her.

My first reaction was wow! The visuals are just stunning. The book in itself has very few words per page and tries to explain the concept of opposites. For some parents it may be a dampener as there is little to read for the price one pays for the book. However, my 1.5 yr old daughter loves the book (there is hardly any book she doesn't like) as she loves dogs and gets to see so many of them.

Super livre, histoire simple mais parfaite pour cette raison...mes fils de 16 mois et 3 ans l'adorent, moi aussi. Belle édition et supers dessins...C'est une de seulement deux livres que mon petit de 16 mois veut regarder encore et encore...pendants des longs minutes.Je le lis 3 fois et je n'en ai pas du tout marre. Je cherche d'autres livres de cet auteur.
