Problems were ok. Good reference.

I am not sure "love" ever particularly applies to prep materials for a professional licensure examination, but the NCEES PE Environmental Sample Questions and Solutions book was certainly useful and exactly what I needed.There are decent study materials out there for the Environmental PE, but as a whole, I felt the NCEES book was the most true-to-type of question when it came to comparing to the actual exam. I did use a few other guides, which served mostly as a "refresher" for me, and then turned to the NCEES Sample Questions when it came time to do a simulated "test" ahead of the PE. The style of questions is spot-on for the actual PE, and it also gets you thinking about the types of qualitative questions that may be asked, which can be the difference between grabbing the right reference or not.If you're planning on taking the PE Environmental, do yourself a favor and get this book.

I ordered a used PE Environmental practice test. The booklet had most answers circled, notes scribbled in the margins, and parts of the questions crossed out. I am not impressed with the quality of this product, especially considering the high price (about $70). It is not possible to use this as an actual practice test because all of the correct answers are circled, many with pen. Even those circled in pencil cannot be erased sufficiently.

Take this book to the exam as reference material! I didn't thinking it wasn't allowed but most examinees did. Practicing problems from this book 2-3 months in advance is great prep.

I used this practice exam while studying and also brought it in as a reference material during the exam. The questions helped prepare me for what to expect and the solutions were very beneficial during my reviews of material.

I would highly recommend this if you're taking the exam. The problems are very similar to what you'll actually see on the exam. The book consists of 50 morning problems and 50 afternoon problems, plus solutions. However, save yourself money and buy it directly through the NCEES website.

Excellent reference for the PE Environmental Exam. Realistic problems and a good variety. I instruct a PE review course and I have used this reference to gauge the level of difficulty and depth of my questions.
